PRINCE WILLIAM'S HONEYMOON HOTELS?

HOTELS FIT FOR A FUTURE KING AND QUEEN!
For politically correct reasons, the first part of Prince William's honeymoon must be on the British Isles but there is nothing to stop the Couple of the Century from continuing their honeymoon in some farflung locations across the globe. Hotels.com proposes some tantalising locations where Prince William and Princess Kate might snuggle up after a few days in UK!

A seaside chapel laid out for a wedding at Kahala Resort in Hawaii. Nope, Prince William is not getting married here but who knows, he might come here for his honeymoon! You can never tell!

Hotels it for a King and Queen...or a King and Queen in waiting!

Hotels.com reveals hotels from around the world where British Royalty have stayed and might do so as part of their honeymoon.

Royal wedding fever has spread across the world since the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton was announced last year. Hotels.com has seen a 102% booking increase for London accommodation during the ‘Wedding of the Century,’ and there is plenty of speculation on where the newlyweds will spend their honeymoon.

For political reasons, Prince William and the newly ennobled Princess Kate cannot honeymoon in Pangkor Laut or Genting Highlands as the official honeymoon should be in United Kingdom and ideally in Wales as Prince William is the future Prince of Wales. Rumour has it he will spend the first portion of his honeymoon at Isles of Scilly, off the coast of Cornwall as his father Prince Charles also happens to be Duke of Cornwall as Camilla is officially the Duchess of Cornwall and not Princess of Wales. With just 5 habited islands and 140 uninhabited ones, Scilly isles is easy to cordon off from prying eyes as its population is just around 2,000. Already all hotels are fully booked in case Prince William does turn up. What a wonderful way to waylay the couple of the century should you be on the same island during his honeymoon!

There is a valid reason why the future King might consider Isles of Scilly. In 1989, aged 7, he spent a happy holiday here with his mother Princess Diana and Prince Charles as well as brother Prince Harry. These isles would make a wonderful getaway yet revive joyful childhood memories of the time he spent with his parents. Being islands, it takes a bit of effort for casual nosy-parkers to get there and security would be easily managed compared to a land hotel in the Scottish highlands.

Travellers not lucky enough to get an invite to the wedding can still enjoy the ‘royal’ treatment at these top five Hotels.com hotels where British royals have stayed.
