This is Part 2 of the Glitterama ---An Evening of Pure Harmony held on 3 September 2011 at Grand Ballroom, Shangri-La, the best 5-star hotel in Kuala Lumpur and of course that means the best in Malaysia as if a hotel in the capital loses to a hotel in Kota Baru, Kelantan, means the end is high high.

Anyway this sequel to my first blog on Glitterama ladies is due to the fabulous photos taken by hotshot young pixman Shaun Tan. They turned out to be so fabulous I was instructed by Buddha and Jesus to publish them as not to do would be a disservice to mankind and Zeus might even hurl a thunderbolt at me and who am I to disagree with the gods.

So here they are. This is very pictorial as all the lurid details are in my original blog posted earlier. As they say a picture is worth a 1,000 words but of course this only applies to text written by someone else. If the words are written by me, it is worth only 10 words per picture but the rest are 1,000 words per picture.

Shaun Tan who fazed me with his photos is still a student at INTI and studying business so this is still part time but when I saw his images, I assumed he shamelessly stole them from the Internet from professional photographers. They were that good. He swore on the souls of all his ancestors buried in China and Malaysia he took these images himself and did not pilfer from cyber space.

Shaun Tan is all of 21 so I warned him he would suffer horribly for the rest of his life if he lied to me. He is a bit late starting out as I was 14 when I was recognised as a boy genius as none of my teachers could write so brilliantly and at warp speed. I used to correct my teachers' grammer which may explain why they never erected a statue in my honour when I left for Universiti Malaya outside Kelantan. Of course I am delighted to return to unveil the statue anytime.

Anyway it is good feng shui to help talented young people as I was helped by an older man when I was in Universiti Malaya. I treated this guy like a chauffeur and banker and summoned him to pick, drop and occasionally wait for me. I also got pocket money from him so I lived like a lord and my MU days were among the best times of my life. But then again, every day is the best time of my life.

Since I don't even own a car, Shaun Tan cannot order me to chauffeur him around KL and it is more the other way around as he has a car! Of course having driven my benefactor almost to bankruptcy I make sure I am not treated as an ATM machine when I graduated and started working.

So now I am doing my good deed of the day and hope you will enjoy Shaun Tan's photos, beautifully presented to you by Kee Hua Chee, greatest journalist this side of the observable universe. In chronological order as the Glittering Glitterama Girls glowed on stage!

She made it onto the stage from the floor and danced with The Dance Company which is Malaysia's best dance troupe

TKS_8047.JPG
I love his hair which looks like he fell in front of a lawn mower
TKS_8047.JPG
Keith Tan is a world harmonica champion and tall as a model
TKS_8047.JPG
The only snag about being a harmonica champion is no one gets to see what you infront or inside your mouth, unlike a guitar, violin, trombone, saxophone or piano
TKS_8047.JPG
Now you can see Keith Tan's harmonica! A bit late though as his show's over
TKS_8047.JPG
We share a fondness for feathers but my purple feather is bigger and longer and wider than his black one

THERE ARE STILL MANY GREAT PHOTOS SO I HAVE DECIDED TO HAVE PART 3!
