With these additional flights, the total number of weekly flights between Subang and Langkawi will increase from 10 to 14 and result in an increase of weekly seats on this route from 1,440 to 2,016.

Firefly’s Head of Marketing & Communications, Angelina C Fernandez

with Tourism Malaysia’s initiative to promote domestic tourism.

Angelina said: “Langkawi is a great family destination with plenty of family oriented activities. Besides water based recreation such as swimming, snorkeling and island hopping, there are many educational and fun experiences that parents with young children can do together such as experiencing the cable car ride on Mt Machincang and visiting Underwater World Langkawi which has a large collection of marine animals.

“Langkawi is also famous for its duty-free shopping and has a wide selection of tax-exempted goods ranging from electrical equipment and gadgets to cosmetics, fragrances, chocolates, cigars and more.”

Seats on the extra flights are available for sale.

  1. Despite the small looking from the outside, one would be surprise it's quite spacious on the inside. Among my fav airline but since the ticket cost a bit higher this year, I only buy the cheapest ticket on offer on certain months only.huhu
