SENHENG THREW A LAVISH PARTY AT SAMA SAMA HOTEL FOR 50 WINNERS TO CELEBRATE THE END OF THE SENHENG REAL POWER CONTEST.

As each winner could bring a partner, there were 100 lucky and happy folks enroute to India on an all paid holiday for 8 days and 5 nights!

100 Malaysians’ Dream Come True – Support Team Malaysia at INDIA OPEN 2013

50 pairs of lucky winners for the Senheng Real Power Contest has won themselves 8 days 5 nights trip to India to catch the INDIA OPEN 2013 LIVE! Together with their partners, 100 of them would be going on a trip to India fully sponsored by Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd.

Tied up with Astro Sports Channels as the broadcast sponsor for the INDIA OPEN 2013, the contest was organized by Senheng with the support from Samsung Malaysia Sdn Bhd, AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad and Hong Leong Bank Berhad in conjunction with the company’s 23rd Anniversary celebration.
The Prize Giving Ceremony was held in Sama-Sama Hotel in Kuala Lumpur International Airport from 3.30 p.m. to 4.30p.m. prior to the take-off of the winners to India later that evening. The all-paid trip for the winners is inclusive of flight tickets, accommodation, ground tour, badminton match tickets and meals. The total prize is worth RM440,000 for all the 50 pairs of lucky winners.

Other than catching the INDIA OPEN 2013 Live, the 8 days 5 nights trip also includes ground tour to some of the famous tourist spots in India such as the Qutub Tower, India Gate, Jama Mosque, City Palace, the Legendary Taj Mahal and many other incredible places in India. The winners would get to experience the different culture and tradition of India and see India from a whole new perspective.

The Real Power Contest was held from the 1st of September until the 30th of November 2012 opening to all PlusOne cardmembers who shopped with a minimum of RM999 in a single receipt from any Senheng outlets or senQ Digital Stations nationwide. This 3 months’ long contest sees more than 300,000 entries from all around Malaysia.

Among the 50 winners, 39 of them were males and 11 of them were females (27 Chinese, 18 Malays and 5 Indians). 11 of the winners are from Perak, 10 of the from Selangor, 8 from Penang, 4 from Sabah and Sarawak respectively, 3 from Johor and Pahang respectively, 2 from Negeri Sembilan and 1 each from Kedah, Kuala Lumpur, Kelantan, Melacca and Terenagganu.

The winner range from all ages – 8 of them from the age range of 21-30 years old, 20 of them from 31-40 years old, 15 of them from 41-50 years old and 7 of the others are above 50 years of age. This revealed a very positive sign that Senheng has managed to reach out to customers from all walks of life in the country.
The contest has fetched an overwhelming response, which in return contributed to an increase of sales by double digit at 12% compared to year 2011, with total sales of RM224,996,034. The sales of one of our strategic partner, Samsung has increased by 37% as compared to September to November 2011 with total sales of RM 78,440,550. AEON has also seen an increase of 18% with RM39,286,756 in sales revenue.
Senheng’s Managing Director, Mr. K.H. Lim is personally a great badminton fans. He stated “We at Senheng are true sports fans. We believe in living a healthy lifestyle and through these years, we have sponsored numerous sports related campaign. Nurturing the next generation of badminton champion through Senheng-Samsung Junior Badminton Scholarship is one the key CSR campaigns for us.”

Badminton fans can look forward to Senheng current contest, which is the Master Power Shop & Win Contest whereby 100 lucky Malaysian will stand a chance to catch LIVE badminton Semi-Finals and Finals matches at China!

Customers just need to spend a minimum of RM999 in a single receipt at any Senheng outlets or senQ Digital Stations nationwide to be entitle for the contest running from the 1st of March until the 31st of May, 2013.
