GLITZ AND GLAMOUR AT TROPICANA METROPARK A SPECIAL APPEARANCE BY MISS MALAYSIA TOURISM 2013 FINALISTS

An evening to remember on 30 may 2013 …. Over 300 guests turned up in full force and had a whale of a time at a reception in conjunction with the launch of Tropicana Metropark, a mixed development project in Subang Jaya.

The evening’s reception included the participation of about 18 Miss Malaysia Tourism 2013 finalists who vied for two subsidiary titles – Miss Tropicana Lifestyle and Best in Talent. Tropicana Corporation is the presenter for Miss Malaysia Tourism 2013.

It was also well timed with the corporate name change for the property developer – from Dijaya Corporation Bhd to Tropicana Corporation Bhd – and Tropicana Metropark’s 5-star win for Best Mixed-use Development (Malaysia) at the Asia-Pacific Property Awards 2013.

In thanking the guests and customers for the support, Tropicana Corporation Group Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Yau Kok Seng, also announced details of the Pandora Serviced Residence, the first phase of the trendy and upscale Tropicana Metropark.

Over 70% of the exclusive apartments were sold during the pre-launch period. The 627-unit Pandora Serviced Residence offers three design options – studio, two and three-bedroom units with top notch facilities and fittings.

The award winning Tropicana Metropark mixed development project spreads over 88 acres of prime freehold land and is strategically located between the growth corridors of Subang and Shah Alam.
Tropicana Metropark, with a gross development value of RM6.3 billion, includes residential, office towers, retail and a shopping mall, hotel along with centres for learning and medical. The heart of the integrated project includes a large green oasis of over nine acres for a Central Park which includes a man-made lake, pedestrian promenade and F&B strip for alfresco indulgence.

Tropicana Metropark will be served by a network of highways including a new RM150 million flyover which will directly link the mixed development project to the Federal Highway. Work on the flyover will commence by mid next year and will be completed in 2016.
