Due to Buddha's personal intervention, I am blessed with great hair which is so abundant and thick many asked if I use hair extensions! So I ask them to pull my hair and sadly, many do which is painful!

But my hair is real and natural which is why I am keeping long hair as I have friends in their late 20s already losing their hair. Look at Prince William! He is 32 and already has a bald patch!

Anyway, Uberman's new hair products is heaven-sent. Now we can style our hair anyhow we like and look fab! I like hair that looks like it took 2 hours to achieve and hair that looks like the owner just got out of bed!

I am now using Ubermen's Messy Fudge, same as Korean pop star Youn Seok but after trying all 5, I think any will do the job! You just want great hair that looks like you just stepped out of an expensive salon but costs next to nothing, right?

Ubermen's K-Pop hair works best based on hair length---for instance, if you have short hair, use Spike Wax, medium hair needs Matt Clay, short to medium hair needs Messy Fudge while longish hair needs Air Jelly for volume and Wave Gum for curly/wavy hair.

These days, whatever you do to your hair, you can't go wrong so why worry?

More so each Ubermen can of hair wax costs only RM 14! So buy a dozen cans now as from 1 July it will shoot up to RM 17!

Here are photos I took with my highclass Leica camera given by HRH Sultanah Kalsom of Pahang during the launch on 13 June 2013 at Zouk.

Styling Up K-Pop Hair Trends With Ubermen

Already a top-selling brand for men’s personal care products, Ubermen now ups the ante with a versatile range of hairstyling products in five different forms: Spike Wax (for spikes with long-lasting effect), 3D Matt (for a natural look with matt finish), Messy Fudge (for a casual-messy look), Wave Gum (for a natural wavy look) and Air Jelly (voluminous effect with light setting).

Inspired by Korean hair fashion, the new hairstyling series focus on giving layer and texture to hair. It is also formulated with “Style Memory”, allowing hairstyles to last for longer hours with the hair feeling light and less sticky too. The introductory price is RM13.90 and will be valid until 30 June 2013, following which the 70g pack will be retailed at the normal retail price of RM16.90 at pharmacies, supermarkets and hypermarkets nationwide.

The product release also comes with the announcement of K-Pop singer Youn Seok as the brand’s ambassador. As one of Korea’s leading artistes, Youn Seok’s talent spans across singing, composing and producing. The K-Pop sensation says his personal style is GQ-inspired and smart-chic, as opposed to the more androgynous male celebrity look amongst other Korean artistes. Director of Tohtonku Sdn Bhd, Jasper Lim, spotted Youn Seok to be the face of Ubermen precisely because the artiste's personal style resonates with the brand’s new hairstyling range.

“I've been using the product for several months now and it’s just wonderful. I recommend it to anyone who is trying to achieve the cool, effortless Korean-style look. It leaves no residue and the look is natural. It shapes my hair really well with great hold and flexibility,” shared Youn Seok. Among his favourites from the range are the purple Ubermen Messy Fudge and the green Air Jelly which he finds most suitable for his wavy hairstyle.

Uber DJ Competition
In conjunction with the launch, an Uber DJ competition will be held to help budding talents. The key objectives are firstly, to support the launch of this new hairstyling range and secondly, to discover and groom local DJs. The Top 16 emerging from auditions will be invited to the Finale event on 22 June 2013 where they will compete in a knockout stage for the grand prize. The panel of judges will include DJ Gabriel (Malaysia’s leading Techno export DJ), DJ Joey G,  DJ Ken and Mr Nasty (Zouk’s resident DJ).

The total prize money is RM50,000, with the grand prize package of RM3,000 cash, Point Blank Course worth RM10,000, Rane Sixty-One mixer worth RM5,699, DJ Course from Positive Rotation worth RM3,500, Ubermen hamper worth RM1,000, Sol Republic headphone, Zouk Premium Membership and more from Vans, Sole What, Snips and Nasty Inc. There will also be a People’s Choice Winner, as voted by the audience and a Web Choice Winner, both of which will win prizes worth RM800 each.
