ZURICH IS SWITZERLAND'S EPICENTRE OF FINANCE AND FASHION AND FUN!

KEE@FSWMAG.COM
ZURICH IS THE FINANCIAL CAPITAL OF SWITZERLAND JUST AS GENEVA IS THE CULTURAL HEART BUT THE ACTUAL CAPITAL IS BERNE! BERNE IS SO SMALL AND NOT PARTICULARLY INTERESTING THAT MOST TOURISTS SKIP IT. I HAVE BEEN TO SWITZERLAND MAYBE 10 TIMES BUT HAVE NEVER BEEN TO BERNE EXCEPT ONCE DRIVING THROUGH IT TO ANOTHER CITY!

Zurich is rich and chic and offers the best money can buy. Many come to Zurich to 'visit their money' which of course does not apply as even in the old days, all you needed was a bankbook and now everything is online. But Bahnhofstrasse or Railway Street is Zurich's main artery filled with expensive shops, couture boutiques, pricey jewellery stores, dazzling watch shops and of course banks, banks, banks. All the famous Swiss banks rub shoulders with each other, from UBS to Credit Swiss to Julius Bar. Plus the branches of other foreign banks.

Despite its staid financial reputation, Zurich is really fun, lively and ready to party! West Zurich is where the action is and you MUST go there for the nightlife and shopping and dining. Clouds is the best restaurant with the most spectacular view right at the top of the 34th floor some 400 feet above ground.

My room at B2 Boutique Hotel & Spa in the renovated, historic Hurlimann Brewery building

I love my bathroom with its transparent glass walls

B2 hotel and spa costs 300 Swiss Francs, under RM 1,000 per night
This room was home in Zurich and a very comfy and luxurious one too!
