DESIGN CONCEPT: Portuguese and Chinese influences capture ancient Macanese culture through the hotel’s architecture and interior design.  From the moment a guest arrives in the entry courtyard, the 360-room hotel will exude the charms of colonial Macau through its nostalgic design aesthetic.

European and Chinese design motifs are combined, as classical meets contemporary through the elegant finishes. Chinoiserie, hand-painted silks, carved wood and stone, and handmade tiles are wrapped from the entry courtyard into the main lobbies and lounges.

Rich golden ochre walls, together with cream-coloured stone detailing and tiles, bring the Macanese spirit alive. Façade lighting is complemented by traditional decorative wall sconces, pendants, chandeliers and lamp posts, all consistent with the style of architecture during the Macanese period.

In terms of interior design, the hotel features a contemporary aesthetic, mixing Old World ornamentation with Oriental accents, vibrant colors, lush brocades and jewel tones, reminiscent of the days when the city was a major trading centre for China, Japan, India and Europe, as merchants dealt in Portuguese silks and ceramics.

Inspired by the beautiful, ornate colonial architecture that makes Macao distinct, a residential approach was utilised in the design and styling of interiors that also match the exteriors; both are influenced by old Colonial Portuguese houses, consisting of columns and draped windows.

RECREATIONAL  FACILITIES: 24-hour Health Club, two regular swimming pools, one lagoon pool and two kids’ swimming pools.
