I like ice cream in general and Haagen-Dazs in particular. I love all the flavours of Haagen-Dazs and the only thing I don't QUITE like about Haagem-Dazs is the spelling of the name! I also say this on behalf of the human population of which I am the official spokesman. Even now as I type, I have to remember the last name is Dazs and not Dasz which 99% of readers would not know nor bother but I am a perfectionist as I am the sole representative of the homo sapiens which is not to be confused with homo sexuals.
All these Scandinavian, Finnish and eastern European names really floor me. Why can't Haagen-Dazs simplify it to Hagen-Das? Or Haagen or Hagen or HD as these are some of the names my highclass and rich friends call their favourite icecream instead of the mouthful of a name. I never hear my friends say "Let's go guzzle Haagen-Dazs" but "Let's do Haagen". Think OMG and LOL and you get the drift. Then again, after a litre of Haagen-Dazs inside your anatomy, the name should slide smoothly from your lip, tongue and mouth like a Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream Smoothie!
Haagen-Dazs is not cheap either very sad to say but then neither is Louis Vuitton and look at the queue fighting to enter and thrash their plastic! You get what you pay for and investing in your stomach and palate and sensory buds is always a worthy cause.
