DANIEL MANTZ, THE MOST HANDSOME 4 YEAR OLD BOY IN THE OBSERVABLE UNIVERSE CELEBRATED HIS BIRTHDAY ON 6 AUGUST 2011 AT THE 5-STAR GRAND MILLENNIUM HOTEL IN KUALA LUMPUR IN BUKIT BINTANG.
DANIEL MANTZ'S PARTY WAS HELD IN THE GRAND BALLROOM, THE SAME VENUE AS HIS BABY SIBLINGS GLORIA AND RAPHAEL MANTZ WHO CELEBRATED THEIR VERY FIRST BIRTHDAY EARLIER IN JUNE.
DANIEL MANTZ WAS BORN ON 8/8 BUT THAT DATE WAS ON MONDAY SO HIS PARENTS PRINCESS DR BECKY LEOGARDO AND MICHAEL MANTZ DECIDED TO HOLD IT 2 DAYS EARLIER ON 6/8 ON SATURDAY SO EVERYONE COULD FIND TIME TO ATTEND DURING THE WEEKEND.
THE BIRTHDAY BASH WAS HELD IN THE AFTERNOON AND STARTED FROM 2.30 PM ONWARDS. AS IT WAS PUASA TIME, MUSLIMS WERE UNABLE TO EAT AND THE HOSTS WERE EXTREMELY PLEASED WHEN MADAME AHMED AMAZIANE THE SPOUSE OF THE MOROCCAN AMBASSADOR AND HER SON MEHDI AMAZIANE TURNED UP. HOWEVER WHEN THE FOOD WAS READY AFTER THE CAKE CUTTING CEREMONY THEY LEFT SINCE THEY WERE FASTING AND COULD NOT ENJOY THE DELICIOUS FOOD AND DRINKS. I GUESS WHEN YOU ARE HUNGRY AND SURROUNDED BY PEOPLE FEEDING THEIR FACES YOU ARE BOUND TO BE EMBROILED IN A BATTLE WITH TEMPTATION SO THE BEST THING TO DO WOULD BE LEAVING THE SCENE.
Around 80 guests and staff of Princess Dr Becky Leogardo turned up to wish the Birthday Boy a joyous day. Dr Chit Magtal flew in all the way from Manila, Philippines. She should as she is Daniel's godmother just as I am Daniel's godfather. I said godfather, not fairy godfather!
I was also the emcee and have been emceeing my godson's birthday except for his christening at Carcosa Seri Negara as I had to be on stage since I was one of his godfathers.
The theme was 'Orange' so that was easy enough. Everyone came in orange as it is an easy colour and everyone must have something orangey in their wardrobe. I of course came entirely in orange from top to toe but I could not claim the 'head to toe' title as my hair was still black. The ultimate winner was the host with the most herself---Princess Dr Becky Leogardo as her hair was orange!
Not only that, she wore an orange Escada leather jacket which we bought in The Hague. Holland at the Escada boutique last July and the latest Hermes bag in orange and orange Hermes high heels. Luckily she could not qualify to win a Best Dressed title for Men, Women and Children.
Of course I was one of the Best Dressed since I was all decked in orange and was even holding an orange fruit to reinforce my chances. The other winner was Cliff who left early due to business meeting and his lovely Russian wife accepted on his behalf though I think I should get that present as well! Normally only those who were in the ballroom should win but Princess Dr Becky vetoed me.
As usual, Princess Dr Becky Leogardo spent at least RM 4,000 on presents alone and EVERY guest and child went home with a minimum of 3 presents. I saw some lucky ones lugging half a dozen pressies home. On top of that, her invite requested her guests not to bring any present for Daniel who already have enough toys to open 1 or maybe 2 toyshops and an entire section of the house the size of a normal livingroom is taken over by his train set.
The Clown entertained the children with magic tricks and there were plenty of easy, fun games like Musical Chairs, Eating An Apple Without Hands and Standing on Newspaper as the paper got folded smaller after each round.
There were lucky draws galore and I won too due to divine intervention from Buddha and Jesus. My lucky number was 45 in case any reader wishes to buy Empat Ekor. I got a perfume set.
And as usual, Princess Dr Becky Leogardo over-ordered the food and so much were left some guests had to take them home and her staff also brought the food back for dinner and supper.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN, DANIEL MANTZ! MAY YOU GROW TO BE AS GORGEOUS AS YOUR GODFATHER AND SUCCESSFUL AS YOUR LOVING PARENTS!
