HELD ON THE 8TH FLOOR OF LE MERIDIEN HOTEL AT FAVOLA, AROUND 70 GUESTS ENJOYED THEMSELVES IN AN EVENING OF MALAYSIAN FOOD, FASHION, FUN AND FRIENDSHIP AS ALSO PRESENT WERE 8 LADY AMBASSADORS FROM SPAIN, FRANCE, ECUADOR, ARGENTINA, RUSSIA, TURKEY, IRAQ AND AUSTRIA!
Dinner was a specially created Malay menu with oriental touches. Entertainment was provided by a live 6-piece Malay band and performances by Izzlyn and Amanda Imani while two small fashion shows were presented by Salikin Sidek a specialist in Malay costumes and Keith Kee, an advocate of Chinese cheongsam. Both designers are acclaimed for updating and jazzing up traditional costumes so they look contemporary while retaining their exquisite, olde worlde charm and artistic flair.
A welcome late comer was Tan Sri Vincent Tan who was greeted warmly by everyone. His wife Puan Sri Esther and daughter Chryseis Tan arrived earlier.

His other children are Morvin, Euvin and Nevin which carry the 'vin' behind their names in honour of their father 'Vincent' and his youngest daughter is Chrystal Tan
