"Lord's Tailor chose 12 of Malaysia's top male stars this year to wear our garments for the Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian which was held at Genting Highlands' Arena of Stars on 8 April 2012 on Sunday," explains Kenny Loh, managing director of Lord's Tailor and son/scion/inheritor of Lord's Tailor as his father Robert Loh started the menswear tailoring business decades ago.

Lord's Tailor most famous client is Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad who gave a glowing report on his patronage for the last 27 years and remains a client.

We feel honoured the male actors, singers and entertainers are happy to wear our suits and some have won Best Dressed as a result. "We are particularly pleased to sponsor 12 Malay male stars for the 25th Silver Anniversary of Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian 2012. This year's edition was very special as it has been 25 years for the award and 55 years for Berita Harian as a daily."

Of course he was bursting with pride when one of his divine dozen selected by him won 3 awards wearing his suit.

"Based on his track record, I was sure Aaron Aziz would win Most Popular Star award the Anugerah Bintang Paling Popular Angerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian and he did! Aaron Aziz also won Most Popular Male Actor or Pelakon Filem Lelaki Popular. In fact I expected him to also win Most Popular Male TV Actor award or Pelakon TV Lelaki Popular but he didn't. However it went to Fizz Fairuz who was one of the 12 stars I selected so that was fine as Fizz wore Lord's Tailor when accepting the award!"

You turn left, you win. You turn right, you win. Sounds a bit like my blessed life. I only started blogging (to great success!) as I lost a retainership so I moaned to my big boss at The Star who snapped, "Told you a million times to start your own blog!". So I stopped whimpering and whining like a dog and learned how to upload my photos as my Big Boss had initiated it 3 or 4 years ago but I was half-hearted and it went into a hiatus but now the hibernation's over!

Anyway, I was at Lord's Tailor boutique at Bangsar Shopping Centre 2 days before Easter Sunday 8 April to mingle with the stars as I only hobnob with winners as I wait for losers to climb to the top!

I agree with Kenny Loh Aaron Aziz should win as he had been chalking up awards all of last year and he was a shoo-in.

But I also met Fadlan, the up and coming hot new star who I predict will be Malaysia's Next Big Idol! Tall, handsome and fair skinned, he is barely 20 and so gorgeous I was shocked to death he was not from Kota Baru, Kelantan as the good-lookers and sexy stunners all come from my home town and state! Maybe he was conceived there while his parents were visiting Kota Baru and born in Kuala Lumpur 9 months later. Or he has one parent from Kelantan. I will confirm with him and let you dear readers know as I am sure all of you cannot eat, sleep and wank until you know more details about this hotshot young hunk.
