QUEEN ELIZABETH II GETS A FACE LIFT

HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II OF UNITED KINGDOM IS NOW 86 YEARS OLD AND IS SHOWING HER AGE AS SHE IS STILL A MORTAL DESPITE HER EXALTED POSITION.

SO SHE RECENTLY HAD A MAJOR FACE LIFT ALTHOUGH YOU WILL BE THE FIRST TO SAY SHE DID NOT NEED ANY CONSIDERING HER NEW, REWORKED FACE DID NOT SHOW ANY LESSENING OF LINES NOR WRINKLES WHICH ARE STILL THERE FOR THE WORLD TO SEE AND TOUCH!

In fact, she looked more or less exactly the same before she underwent a total face lift and overhaul of her entire body!

And this is not the first nor second or third time!

In fact, Her Britannic Majesty has undergone the facelift 23 times since ascending the throne and the latest revamp cost a staggering RM 750,000!

Well, this is the figure announced by Madame Tussauds the world famous waxworks museum in London which has created waxworks of the entire Royal Family as well as the world's most famous and notorious royals, presidents, celebrities, stars, actors, actresses, entertainers, dictators, heroes, heroines and sportsmen!

Queen Elizabeth II was born on 21 April 1926 and started her reign on 6 February 1952 but was crowned a year later on 2 June 1953 which has led to some confusion as some assumed she should be celebrating her Diamond Jubilee of 60 years on the throne next year since she was enthroned in 1953 and now is only 2012 and not 2013!

Lucky I have cleared the air for all of you.

By Monday Queen Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor would officially have reigned 60 years, just 3 years short of Queen Victoria who was the longest reigning monarch of Great Britain and any female monarch in history. Queen Victoria reigned 63 years 216 days so Queen Elizabeth II must lived an extra 3 years 217 days to supersede her ancestor to enter history as the world's longest reigning female monarch in 2015!

There is every reason to assume Queen Elizabeth II who is in fine fettle to surpass her great grandmother in which case she would be the longest reigning female monarchs in the history of mankind!

Technically since Queen Elizabeth II started her reign on 6 February 1952, she has already surpassed her 60th year of sitting on the throne some 3 months ago!

LONG LIVE THE QUEEN OF ENGLAND!

Currently the world's longest reigning monarch who is still alive is His Majesty the King of Thailand King Bhumibol Adulyadej who would have reigned 66 years come 9 June 2012.

The King of Malaysia, Seri Paduka Baginda Yang DiPertuan Agong Sultan started his reign on 15 July 1958 and by 15 July 2012 he would have reigned 54 years.

Of course there are other monarchs of obscure territories and provinces but I don't recognise them. Have you heard of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt, Waldburg-Zeil, Pomerania-Stettin or worse, Ijebuland, Palenque, Pratapgarh, Aundh or non-countries not a  member of United Nations. I am Emperor of The Palladium but that is as far as it goes.

Every visitor to London MUST visit Madame Tussauds as it is Britain's Number 1 Tourist Attraction. Who can resist siddling up close to Princess Diana and fondling her waist and holding her hands? Or any of your favourite stars from Beyonce to Madonna to Lady Gaga?

And of course pay homage to Queen Elizabeth II with her brand new face!

MADAME TUSSAUDS LONDON CELEBRATES THE DIAMOND JUBILEE
WITH NEW WAX FIGURE OF HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN

Madame Tussauds London has just unveiled a stunningly lifelike new figure of Her Majesty The Queen in honour of her Diamond Jubilee. The figure, positioned centre stage in the Royal Area of the attraction, is the 23rd to be created of The Queen by Madame Tussauds London.

Replicating the official Jubilee portrait photograph released earlier this year, the figure will be dressed in a recreation of the white and silver lace dress covered in 53,000 SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS with blue silk sash adorned with The Queen’s Garter Badge, topped off by a replica of the diamond and pearl George IV State Diadem.

Principal Sculptor, Steve Swales, who also created Her Majesty’s previous figure and attended a sitting at Buckingham Palace in 2001, commented “It is extremely exciting to create a wax figure of Queen Elizabeth II and understandably rather nerve-racking too. Meeting The Queen at our last sitting was an invaluable help in creating this figure. She was very relaxed and warm and I’ve tried to portray that, whilst maintaining a sense of majesty. Her expression is soft, as if she is just about to break into a smile. I hope she approves of the end result.”

Buckingham Palace was involved during the creative process of this new figure, with images of the clay head sent to the Palace.

“We have a had a close relationship with the British Royal family since Madame Tussauds first opened its doors in Baker Street in 1884 and it has grown in strength ever since” remarked Liz Edwards, PR Manager at the attraction. “We have created more figures of Queen Elizabeth II than anyone else in Madame Tussauds’ history, with the first figure created when she was just two years old. In such an iconic year for The Queen we are thrilled to welcome this new figure to the attraction and we are sure our guests will be excited to get a closer look at our beloved Monarch”.

The Queen’s figure took four months to create at a cost of £150,000 and will remain in the Royal area of the attraction alongside recently launched figures of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge plus other members of the Royal Family including the Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry.
