To celebrate the 50th anniversary of James Bond on film, Christie’s announces 50 Years of James Bond – The Auction which will present a unique opportunity to acquire a piece of Bond memorabilia direct from the archives of EON Productions.
Forty lots will be offered at an online-only auction from 28 September to 8 October 2012, with 10 further lots to highlight an invitation-only auction at Christie’s South Kensington on 5 October marking ‘Global James Bond Day’. These 10 further lots will also be accessible to both internet and live, real-time bids. All items offered for sale will be on public exhibition at Christie’s South Kensington saleroom, 85 Old Brompton Road from 11am on Saturday, 29 September until 5pm on Friday, 5 October 2012. Admittance is free.
All proceeds from the auction and catalogue sales will benefit twelve charitable institutions.
The auction is led by a 2008 Aston Martin 6 Litre V12 DBS 2-Door Coupe illustrated above used by Daniel Craig as James Bond in Quantum of Solace. The Aston Martin DBS plays a dramatic role in the opening sequence of the film in which Bond skillfully navigates winding roads in a high speed car chase in Italy. The car is expected to fetch between £100,000 and £150,000, with all proceeds from the sale of this lot to benefit Barnardo’s. Aston Martins have long been a favourite with Bond and first appeared in Goldfinger in 1964 with the iconic DB5. Over the years they have featured in a total of ten Bond films. James Bond drives an Aston Martin DBS in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.
The sleek and plush interior of the James Bond Aston Martin to be auctioned from only RM 500,000 to RM 750,000 which is cheap by Malaysian standards!
Special signages inside reveal this beast's exclusivity
Since the Aston Martin was used in Quantum of Solace, it has been cleaned and spruced up to be spik and span!
This Omega Seamaster is the official James Bond watch. Omega is signed to Mr James Bond and not an actor so if Kee Hua Chee is appointed the next James Bond, Kee will be an Omega ambassador as Mr James Bond!
A stay at Claridges is one of the many bids including the jewels and books which have been donated to the auction and have no direct link to the James Bond franchise
This suit is for auction
This suit worn by Daniel Craig in Quantum of Solace is for auction! Now you can wear a genuine James Bond suit!
Of course the top lot is this swimming trunk worn by Daniel Craig! Now you can put your penis into the very undie which has contained Daniel Craig's cock! Yummy!
This is the swim trunk aka underwear worn by Daniel Craig in the photo above! Of course the crotch area might be a wee loose for you as we are told Daniel Craig has a big, fat cock! The more kinky may want to smell, sniff and inhale the undie as I am told by unreliable sources it has never been washed but had been whiffed clean by the many flaming faggots in the studio!
