THE DEEPAVALI PARTY HOSTED BY CHAMPA AND JETHA VALIRAM AND THEIR SONS SHARAN, ASHVIN AND MUKESH AND THEIR DAUGHTERS-IN-LAW LAVINA, MONICA AND ROSHAN WAS THE GRANDEST AND MOST LAVISH CELEBRATION IN MALAYSIA!

Held at the most expensive hotel in Malaysia Mandarin Oriental in the Grand Ballroom, it was a party worthy of a Maharajah and Maharani and many came dressed the part. Even non-Indians wore the traditional saree, kuta, salwar kameez and ghagra choli while the men were resplendent in their sherwani coats made of rich brocades. 

I really need to get some sherwani costumes as my jewels require such majestic and regal long coats. Maybe if I add a bejewelled turban with strings of pearls I will look like a 21st century Maharaja.
