The Mandarin Oriental Bangkok by Menam Chao Phraya is consistently voted Best Hotel in the World because all its facilities are the best! Makes Mandarin Oriental KL looks like its poor cousin!
THE NUMBER OF TIMES I HAVE STAYED IN THE WORLD'S BEST HOTEL IE MANDARIN ORIENTAL BANGKOK IS PITIFULLY FEW AND CAN BE COUNTED WITH THE NUMBER OF FINGERS ON ONE HAND BUT EACH TIME I STAY OR EVEN VISIT, IT FEELS LIKE I HAVE COME HOME.
Explains a regular guest, "This is because people who are naturally high-class, have discerning taste and enjoy the best life can offer will always feel at home in Mandarin Oriental Bangkok as its service is sublime, its facilities unbeatable and your room is luxury personified!"
Very true since I love and enjoy and luxuriate in the best things in life due to the personal intercession of Buddha and Jatukarm.
However, a green-eyed jealous friend told me, "You feel at home there cos in your previous life, you worked there as a waiter."
As a devout religionist, I did not slap him but advised him to try which he eventually did and came to the same conclusion. So I said I was probably the Head Waiter and he my trainee waiter in our past life.
Anyway, since the world did not end on 21.12.12 we should celebrate the continuance of this kalpa by booking into Mandarin Oriental Bangkok for a week!
This offer lasts till 31 March so stop twaddling and dawdling and ask your minion to book. Of course this being Mandarin Oriental, when they say 'offer', it means RM 10,000 (thereabouts) for 7 nights with 1 room thrown in free!
Trust me, you might think 8 days and 7 nights seem long as that was what I thought when I once stayed in Bangkok for a record 14 days and on the 14th day I felt like I had stayed only 4 days! There are plenty to shop, see, sup and spa especially when money is not the main worry and that applies in your case if you can afford to pay RM 10,000 for 7 nights!
Peasants and members of the lower classes can stay one night for RM 1,800 but without the perks of 'Legend of the Oriental Package' (see lengthy list below!). It's really worth it since we are all still alive despite 21.12.12!
