IT WAS FULL HOUSE AND STANDING ROOM AGAIN ON THE 4TH NIGHT OF MERCEDES-BENZ STYLO FASHION FEST AT ALOFT THE BRAND NEW HOTEL, SO NEW IT HAS NOT EVEN OPENED YET!
Aloft will open this weekend and Mercedes-Benz STYLO is part of its opening act that will break Aloft's virginity and we all know you never forget who was the first to penetrate you or get penetrated!
The star of the evening was none other than Soren Ravn, the Managing Director of Carlsberg Malaysia which owns the local franchise of Kronenbourg 1664, the world's most fashionable and fashion-centric beer!
Of course the theme was Frenchy and the night was called 'Not Les Miserables', a clever take on the hit musical and now movie of the same name. 'Les Miserables' means 'The Miserable Ones' and last night was everything but that!
The hostess with mostest Doreen of RAPR and Dato Nancy Yeoh's sidekick commented, "Since Kronenbourg's boss Soren Ravn is not around, let us not bother about him and start the show without him".
I was shocked speechless as I had earlier met Soren Ravn in the foyer so he was around then and must have left after a massive quarrel with Dato Nancy Yeoh or Roland Folger of Mercedes-Benz which is the main sponsor and underwriter!
Perhaps Soren and Kronenbourg 1664 had pulled out of the show because it was untenable for the sponsor of 'Not Les Miserables' to leave without seeing the show they were paying for!
I squirmed in my seat from delicious anticipation. Was Dato Nancy Yeoh going to explain everything and curse and condemn Soren Ravn to high heaven?
For the sponsor to be missing at his very own show and for STYLO to start without waiting for him and to show such disrespect, disdain and nonchalance was shocking! I was so thrilled my toes curled inside my hot new Depression pink shoes newly acquired from Asia Fashion Inc pop-up showroom in the foyer outside the ballroom!
Would there be lawsuits flying at each other as Dato Nancy Yeoh and Soren Ravn sue each other panties' off? STYLO vs Kronenbourg 1664 will be the headlines in The Star, the official newspaper of STYLO! I love catfights don't you?
How FOOLISH of Dato Nancy Yeoh to pick a fight with Soren Ravn! And vice versa. I forsaw the imminent departure of Soren Ravn as MD of Carlsberg Malaysia as the case is brought to the International Court of Justice at The Hague, Holland!
And so 'Les Miserables' may turn out to be a miserable affair after all!
Meanwhile, I bet Heineken of Guinness Anchor Berhad (GAB) will be roaring in....
The ballroom darkened as the powerful roar of a Harley-Davidson or some hot rod motorbike shattered the calm. Was this an attack by violent motorbike gangsters sent by Soren Ravn to destroy the fashion show?
I stared at my pink shoes by Depression Singapore to see if my toes were curling from excitement. At times like these, I felt like cumming too.
But who should ride the motorbike and charge into the ballroom than a lean, mean, tall and sexy Soren Ravn himself? Dressed as a hell-raiser! This was a Hell Angel's like no other!
The crowd roared in amazement and amusement and astonishment and our mouths were agape and wide open.
So Soren Ravn did not have a fight after all and the whole shenadigan was a farce to fool us! And I fell for it!
Soren Ravn jumped off his metal steed and guess what he did next? He scampered on the catwalk and started rapping with beatboxer Sean Lee!
We almost fell off my seats and my toes curled again from excitement! I had to murmur "Be still, dear heart"
You see, Soren Ravn from Copenhagen, Denmark is the ONLY Managing Director in Southeast Asia and maybe Asia and maybe Europe and North and South American, Middle East and Australiasa who can sing and rap like a rocksta gangstar!
