Kiehl’s Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate contains a powerful and potent level of pure, stabilized Vitamin C ( L-Ascorbic Acid ) at 10.5%.  

L-Ascorbic Acid appears as a white crystalline powder, one that is soluble in water; as such, it is particularly unstable, rapidly deteriorating when exposed to oxygen and heat. Kiehl’s chemists have stabilized this pure form of Vitamin C by developing it in a stabilizing base in the form of a concentrated non-aqueous[3] serum which helps skin recover from some of the more visible effects of skin aging. When applied topically to skin, L-Ascorbic Acid has been proven to enhance skin radiance and to diminish the appearance of wrinkles and lines.
