I cannot recover how stunning and tall Fang Bingbing is!
L1380660.JPG
I also cannot recover how her boobs managed to stay inside safe and snug---must be a masterpiece of construction!
L1380660.JPG
Fang Bingbing has just signed by Chopard to be their de facto ambassador as China and Chinese have long overtaken the Japanese as the biggest customers for luxury goods
L1380660.JPG
Even when Fang Bingbing unfolded her arms, her boobs still did not pop out as hoped, to the disappointment of all who clustered and clamoured around her

I asked Fang Bingbing to show Chopard earrings which she obligingly did and I managed to get a sideway photo of her assets L1380660.JPG
Alright then, one last looKEE and then I show the cleavages of Dato Nancy Yeoh and Kassandra who can give Fang Bingbing a run for her breast money

THE 66TH CANNES FILM FESTIVAL STARTED ON 15 MAY 2013 AND I ARRIVED AT NICE AIRPORT WITH KASSANDRA AND HER 'NEWSMAKERS UNPLUGGED' TEAM---ALL 14 OF US!

The equipment alone was 150 kg which exclude our normal baggage allowance! Travelling with a fullscale camera crew is no joke!

We checked into 4 apartments as my favourite Martinez hotel was booked to the rafters and basement carpark since all the stars, their lovers, producers, directors, cast, friends and hangers-on had booked Martinez since last year, the same like Basel hotels booked and paid a year in advance for the next  Basel Watch and Jewellery Fair.

Chopard is the sponsor of the Golden Palm award given to the best movie and the Chopard Trophy award which was given last night to Blanca Suarez and Jeremy Irvine.

The 2 Chopard awards were presented at 8 pm last night at Martinez hotel followed by the dazzling after-party at Salon Acajou.

Only the most favoured clients of Chopard were invited plus 1 journalist from Malaysia (that's me of course), 1 from Singapore, 1 from Spain, 1 from Mexico, 2 from Japan and 3 from China.

The Chopard guests dripped with Chopard jewels and I never saw a lovelier sight! I spotted a few High Jewel bling plus Chopard diamond watches on every wrist and the Chinese women from mainland China stole the show with the biggest and most dazzling diamond necklaces, earrings and mega-carat diamond rings.

Host with most was Caroline Scheufele, co-owner of Chopard who wore sapphire, ruby and emerald earrings to accentuate her one-shoulder.

I waved at her and Caroline walked towards me and rewarded me with a kiss on my right cheek. I commented to Caroline Scheufele she had lost weight and she replied, "Oh but I have always been slim!"

Around 150 fortunate guests drank Taittinger pink champagne and exotic cocktails plus delicious food all night long till 2am.

Blanca Suárez and Jeremy Irvine
2013 Chopard Trophy award winners

For the 12th edition of its Trophy, Chopard honours Blanca Suárez, the delightful Madrid-born actress revealed by Pedro Almodóvar, and Jeremy Irvine, the stubborn hero of War Horse. Here are brief portraits of these up and coming talents in the world of the seventh art.

Blanca Suárez
Born on October 21st 1988 in Madrid, Blanca Suárez is a fashion model and an actress. She began her career in television in 2007 with the popular Spanish series El Internado (The Boarding School), before taking her first steps on the big screen in a horror movie titled Shiver (Eskalofrio), directed by Isidoro Ortiz. This young lady has been in the public eye ever since, gracing the fashion and beauty pages of various women’s magazines as well as acting in a number of short films and series. Having caught the attention of Pedro Almodóvar, she became one of his new muses and acquired international recognition. In La piel que habito (The Skin I Live In) she is Norma, the depressive daughter of a famous surgeon played by Antonio Banderas. Her performance earned her a nomination for the Goya award for Best Young Actress. As well as starring in the film director’s latest movie, Los amantes pasajeros (literally passing/passenger lovers), a wild and uninhibited comedy, the gorgeous Spaniard also features in Imanol Uribe’s Miel de naranjas (Orange Honey), a dramatic story set in 1950s Spain during the Franco dictatorship.

Jeremy Irvine
It took just one film to propel Jeremy Irvine to international stardom. At the age of 21, after studying at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and having made a few stage and TV appearances, this young Briton was entrusted by Steven Spielberg with the main role in War Horse (2011). In this extraordinary story of friendship, the novice actor plays Albert, an adolescent prepared to do anything to find again the horse his father sold to the army in 1914.
Since this brilliant first endeavour, the actor has been involved in a number of major projects. He will soon be appearing in another war film, The Railway Man, directed by Jonathan Teplitzky, alongside Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth. In it, he plays the role of the youthful Eric Lomax, an English army officer captured by the Japanese during World War II and forced to work on building a railroad running from Burma to Siam. Jeremy Irvine will also play the leading role in Mike Newell’s new adaptation of Charles Dickens’s Great Expectations, together with Helena Bonham Carter and Ralph Fiennes.
