The most favoured stars wore Chopard, the official jeweller of Cannes Film Festival and supporter of AIDS research as amfAR is American Foundation for AIDS Research. 

You don't need to be a superstar to shine like one when wearing Chopard mega-bling but the celebrities certainly lived up to expectations when they stunned the crowd and each other with Chopard jewels that rivalled their natural glow and radiance.

The latest ball at Hotel du Cap Eden Roc near Cannes raised RM 100 million for AIDS research.

Kristin Scott Thomas, Eva Herzigova, Kylie Minogue, Dita Von Teese, Zhang Yu Qi, Jessica Hart, Chanel Iman, Liu Wen, Petra Nemcova, Eugenia Silva and Caroline Scheufele  were all shining in Chopard jewellery at the amFAR dinner.

Chopard is proud to support amFAR, the foundation for AIDS research.

The first auction lot of the evening was an  Oscar weekend 2014 including a custom Happy Sport watch from Chopard, and was auctioned for a record 1.5 Million Euros, with Leonardo di Caprio adding tickets to one of his movie premieres to the lot.

Details of the Chopard jewellery:

Kylie Minogue, the famous singer selected an impressive bracelet set with fancy shaped brown diamonds (49cts),  a pair of earrings set with white and brown diamonds (23 cts) and  a ring featuring a 3 cts pear-shaped diamond set in white gold.

Eva Herzigova, , the Supermodel chose a stunning cuff bracelet from the Haute Joaillerie collection consisting in fancy shaped white and yellow diamonds (total of 100 cts), a pair of 18ct white gold earrings set with three pear-shaped diamonds ( for a total of 25 cts), a ring featuring a 6,8cts pear-shaped diamond set in white gold.

Kristin Scott Thomas, the famous actress selected a sautoir featuring briolette cut diamonds (12,4 cts) set in yellow gold and a pair of white gold earrings featuring 22 oval shaped rubies (22,7 cts) and diamonds.

Dita Von Teese, the American Burlesque star, wore a pair of earrings featuring cultured pearls (156ct), rose cut diamonds (12ct) and diamonds set in 18ct white gold, as well as a marquise shaped diamond ring (7ct) set in 18 ct white gold.

Jessica Hart, the Australian Model, wore an 18ct yellow gold ring featuring a radiant cut yellow diamond and a pair of yellow diamond stud earrings (20ct) set in 18ct yellow gold.

Petra Nemcova, the Czech Model, the Czech Model, was wearing an 18ct white gold ring featuring a pear-shaped diamond (10ct), an 18ct white gold necklace set with rose cut (44ct) and briolette diamonds (97ct) as well as a diamond line bracelet and pair of diamond studs.

Chanel Iman, the American Model, was wearing a pair of 18ct white gold earrings set with two triangle-shaped diamonds (10.45ct) and a white gold ring set with two pear-shaped diamonds set in 18ct white gold.

Liu Wen, the beautiful Chinese Super Model, was wearing a pair 18ct rose gold earrings set with two pear-shaped topaz, two pear shaped tourmaline and diamond from the Temptation Collection and white gold heart-shaped diamond ring as a glamorous white gold bracelet set with heart-shapes diamond (18.15ct) and diamonds (11.08ct)

Zhang Yu Qi, the Chinese actress chose to wear a fabulous round-shape diamond floral cuff bracelet set in titanium set with a pair of diamond pear shaped earrings and a stunning diamond pear-shaped ring.

Eugenia Silva, the Spanish model was wearing a pair of platinum earrings set with fancy cut diamonds (22.97ct) and a stunning marquise and princess cut diamond bracelet (17,44ct)

Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Artistic Director of Chopard, is wearing an 18ct white gold necklace set with flower shaped-diamond and an 18ct white gold earrings set with eighteen round brilliant cuts and 12 pear-shaped diamonds (18.57cts)
