ILLIZA HO CHIA HUI IS THE HOT NEW NAME TO WATCH. OF COURSE YOU HAVE NOT HEARD OF HER AS THIS HANDBAG DESIGNER IS ON THE VERGE OF BREAKING OUT BIGTIME BASED ON HER LATEST SPRING SUMMER 2014 COLLECTION THAT HAS FLOORED ME.
Her bags, folded, cut, snipped and wrapped like origami paper, are to die for. Sadly they are not cheap as expected since these are couture bags. They range from RM 1,800 to RM 8,800 but they are worth it since they are limited edition and considered collector's items!
She is currently Assistant Designer to Datuk Professor Dr Jimmy Choo but I predict she will soon be snapped up by Louis Vuitton, Chanel or Gucci or even Hermes which is so incredibly staid and need some major revitalisation since it probably survives on Birkin and Kelly.

Accessories Designer Ho CHIA-HUI has been a assistant
Designer to Prof Datuk(Dr)Jimmy Choo,OBE since 2011.She has been trained by
Datuk Jimmy Choo and following him to explore ideas from different countries
such as Uk,Germany, Prague, Brazil,Hong Kong,Shanghai and Guangzhou.She
attended the Design and Art seminar in FAAP in São
Paulo, Brazil in 2012.She
completed a Foundation Degree, in Fashion Accessories, gaining a distinction,
from The London College of fashion in 2010.Chia Hui's skills in product development
and her love for fashion were further intensified whilst working for LGC,
designing wrist watches for the renowned brand, Hush Puppies. One of the design
features of Chia Hui's 2010 collection involved altering the structure and
function of her bags, the end product which she named genetic mutation.
Chia Hui's final fantasy bag was shortlisted in the finals of
the Design-A-Bag Competition 2010. Chia Hui's work experience, with LGC,
has equipped her with insight into the day-to-day operational activities of a
large retail organisation. One of Chia Hui's goals is to combine her current
knowledge and industrial design background experience to assist in the branding
and development of a luxury accessories brand.

The
aspiration of ILLIZA HO is ex-formation and fantasy world that creating the new
way of using accessories in order to make people life better and better. All
the inspirations come from daily life that involves the magical abilities to
subvert the orthodox ideas.
Concept
of 2014 SS Floating collection
According
to top 10 global issues, the world population will soon reach 90 billion in
2050 where there will be a shortage of resources to sustain life. Growth must
be stopped or at least limited so that we can avoid this catastrophe. Many
environmental, social, and economic problems either stem from or have increased
because of the overpopulation problem. Environment friendly is getting more
essential that everything should be used in nature way even the design.
Floating is ILLIZA HO’s inspiration of 2014 spring and summer collection. Cow
Skin hollowing out with bright colour such as cayenne,dazzling
blue,freesia,placid blue, paloma and cream to present relaxation atmosphere.
Door Knobs is the mean design to express how the people relieve stress from
chaos life into the balance level.
