Vintage Festival returns to
McArthurGlen’s Italian Designer Outlets for a third tour
McArthurGlen's Vintage
Fashion Festival is returning this summer for its third tour of all five
Italian McArthurGlen centres, bringing with it a full calendar of exciting
events and exhibitions, proving that vintage never goes out of style!
The Vintage Fashion Festival, this year with a ‘Forever Floral’ theme, opens on 20 May at the three centres McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Noventa di Piave near Venice, La Reggia Designer Outlet (Naples) and Castel Romano Designer Outlet (Rome), to close on 8 June. The tour then continues to Serravalle Designer Outlet (Milan/Turin) and Barberino Designer Outlet (Florence) from 12 to 29 June. The vintage collections available are exclusively curated by A.N.G.E.L.O., the Italian owner of Europe's biggest vintage collection and leading expert in this field. On offer at A.N.G.E.L.O.’s specially created pop-up store at the centres are vintage items from the likes of such iconic brands as Chanel, Hermes, Dior, YSL and Celine. This year’s theme, ‘Forever Florals’, will be reflected in the special exhibition where shoppers can marvel at beautiful creations from famous Italian tailors and masters of Parisian Haute Couture from the past, creating a path back in time, to follow the history of fashion from the 20s to the 50s. Providing a theatrical backdrop will be sculptures made by metal artist Elvezia Allari, which, during the final weekend of the Festival, will be adorned by a floral artist, with shop windows and walkways also decorated with beautiful, colourful fresh flowers - a spectacle not to be missed! In addition to this, the Vintage Fashion Festival pop-up store will offer a special ‘swap area’, where shoppers can bring their own vintage clothing and accessories from labels such as Chanel, Celine, Dior, Hermès and YSL and receive a free evaluation of their items. There will then be the option to exchange their product with a vintage item of the same value. Finally, a special draw to win a one-of-a-kind vintage Chanel bag will be open from 12 May until 29 June. To enter the competition, simply subscribe to the newsletter of one of McArthurGlen’s five Italian centres and you will be in for a chance to win this true object of desire. Shaeren McKenzie, Group Marketing Director, McArthurGlen, says: “The global success of the Festival, now in its third year running, is down to its exceptional offering of exquisite vintage pieces and specially curated exhibitions. We want to provide shoppers with an exciting and exclusive shopping experience, and the Festival offers just this; the chance to pick up one-off vintage finds which will set them apart from the pack, along with some of the top names in fashion, all with 30-70% off.” The Vintage Fashion Festival will be followed by the Summer Festival, including the Serravalle Jazz Festival, at McArthurGlen’s five Italian Designer Outlets, which promise to deliver a line-up of top musicians to the many hundreds of thousands of music and fashion lovers who attend this annual event each year.* *For more information regarding specific centre performances please visit the centre websites below: La Reggia Designer Outlet McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Barberino McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Castel Romano McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Noventa di Piave Serravalle Designer Outlet About McArthurGlen Group McArthurGlen Group, Europe’s leading owner, developer and manager of designer outlets, was founded in Europe by Kaempfer Partners in 1993.
