Tigers, announces details of “INSPIRE” – a stunning and unique
collection of Tiger inspired events, coming exclusively to Malaysia this
September / October 2014.
As part of the two-month long celebrations to draw awareness to the demise of wild tigers left in the world, of which only circa 300 are Malayan Tigers, a fortunate few have the opportunity to reserve a cabin on a very special ‘Eastern & Oriental Tiger Express’ journey, taking place between October 2-6, 2014. The journey begins at the iconic Raffles Hotel in Singapore, where guests can see a stunning Crystal Tigress sculpture on display, which has been created by the highly-accomplished Lauren Baker, using over 50,000 Swarovski crystals.
Then, following a luxurious overnight stay, guests and the Crystal Tigress
will travel on board the Eastern & Oriental Express to Kuala Lumpur,
joined by international celebrities, including fashion-icon Jimmy Choo,
TV-personality Gok Wan from the UK, and actress Jamie Winstone.
That evening, guests will join an impressive fund-raising event hosted by the Save Wild Tigers charity at the famous Majestic Hotel, where Her Royal Highness Sultanah of Pahang will be the dinner’s Royal Patron.
A
tiger-inspired fashion show, part created by the esteemed
Malaysia-based designer Tom Abang Saufi, will support a series of exquisite
pieces of entertainment throughout the evening.
The event culminates with a live-auction for the Crystal Tigress, with all proceeds going to support tiger conservation projects in Johor and Pahang, Malaysia. On October 4th, guests of the Eastern & Oriental Tiger Express will enjoy a breakfast reception at the Eastern&Oriental hotel in Penang, which officially launches a two-week long tiger-inspired photographic exhibition at the property.
