A Stunning Visual Treat For All to Enjoy
Christmas was an extra special time at Avenue K
and this year end was even more so as it marked a year since the trendy mall’s vibrant
makeover. The last month of the year welcomes a wealth of activity and a warm
familiar excitement that could only be Christmas and the anticipation of
welcoming a brand new year ahead.
With the arrival of Sephora on its inviting front
facade, Avenue K welcomes the international beauty megastore to its list of chic
tenants as it looks forward to an exciting future in retail.
New additions include Fresca Mexican Kitchen
& Bar, Dolly Dim Sum which features traditionally made halal dim sum and Korean
fare B.Bap and Nando’s opening on the first and ground floor respectively.
Design books specialist, Basheer also opens in January while Baskin Robbins and
Italian Gelatolicious ice cream adds even more variety to desserts available
within the mall.
The AK Christmas spectacular returns this year
with even more pizzazz and an adorable Santa’s workshop recreated on the ground
floor atrium where Christmas crafts and activities will be held with a trim
shop brought to you by gift specialists, Living Cabin.
A large scale musical
box in the form of a tiny Christmas town will also be on display, playing merry
tunes to set the mood. AK’s customized fuchsia coloured MINI Cooper takes
centre stage in this year’s Christmas line-up featuring an uber cool, larger
than life Santa Claus and his cool, jetpack-wearing reindeers.
Cute accessories,
indulgent toiletries and decedent desserts all make for wonderful Christmas gift
choices available at the AK Christmas bazaar.
Shoppers enjoyed an exhilarating, musical
extravaganza affectionately entitled ‘Santa’s Party’ happening every weekend - a Christmas spectacular featuring the powerful
vocals of talented singer extraordinaire Joy Victor and the graceful,
jaw-dropping moves of her equally talented sister, aerialist Jane Victor
alongside the beautiful Enaj dancers.
The bubbly dancers will be dressed as santarinas
and elves alongside Jane’s grace and skill as she is elevated high above the
atrium floor accompanied by Joy’s delightful serenade.
What’s more, shoppers are rewarded in lucky draws
held every weekend at 5:00 pm from the 29th of November in
conjunction with the Holiday Shopping Spree promotion plus on-the-spot prize
redemptions for those who have a minimum spend.

Santa himself as he spreads some Christmas cheer all the way up to level 4
where shoppers are also invited to a ‘Northpole Carnival’ happening on the
