Fun Charity "Bake"-Day Bash with Amber Chia is one of Pensonic's ways
of rewarding its loyal customers and showing its appreciation for supporting
the 'Amber Chia mesmerized by Pensonic' series.
Pensonic launched its Fun
Charity "Bake"-Day Bash with Amber Chia Instagram Contest on 8
October 2014 in conjunction with the opening of Les Petits Chefs' New Cafe and
Baking Activity Centre.
This
Fun Charity "Bake"-Day Bash with Amber Chia is a very important one
for Pensonic Friend Amber Chia, a famous celebrity model based in Malaysia and
a founder of the Amber Chia Academy as this event celebrates her 14 December
2014 birthday.
Amber who loves children said, "Thanks to Pensonic and Les
Petits Chefs for giving me this opportunity to celebrate my birthday earlier by
baking cookies with the winners of this contest and sharing them with orphans,
therefore this birthday is close to my heart.
"I felt so happy, and I am sure
the winners who joined me in this event felt the same joy to see the cheerful smiles
on the children's faces when we shared the delicious treats we baked for them".
Winners of the Fun Charity "Bake"-Day Bash
with Amber Chia and each winner's guest of choice, as well as orphans from Persatuan
Rumah Kanak-Kanak Ini Di Sayangi (Rumah KIDS), Subang Jaya, Selangor spent an
enjoyable day baking cookies and having fun with Amber Chia on 6 December 2014
at the Les Petits Chefs New Café and Baking Activity Centre, I-2-3, Block I,
Setia Walk, Persiaran Wawasan, 47160 Puchong, Selangor. The cookies were then distributed
to 30 children from Rumah KIDS.
Ms.Su and Ms.Patricia, owners of Les Petits Chefs, took
the task of teaching the winners and orphans to bake delicious Chocolate Chips
Cookies and had so much fun with the creative decorations for the Ginger Bread Man.
Ms.Su remarked, “We are thrilled to share our passion for baking and helping
children to learn baking. Everyone here is having so much fun too".
After
the baking session, the winners and the orphans had a great time with Amber during
the games organized by Pensonic. The winners of the games received prizes and
had group photos taken with Amber Chia.
The orphans even put together a
fantastic dance performance for Amber. This was followed by a surprise birthday
cake presentation by the contest winners accompanied by a sweet birthday song
by the orphans for Amber.
The orphans were treated to a yummy MacDonald's
lunch. Pensonic also presented each child with a much needed pack of school
stationery. Amber's delicious complimentary birthday cake was made by Les
Petits Chefs. Director of Public Relations & Fundraising
Mr.David Jansen
handed over another pleasant surprise to Amber. It was a beautiful “Birthday
Wishes Booklet” done by all the orphans to wish Amber Chia a Happy Birthday.
The day was ended with a group photo session before the orphans departed back
to Rumah KIDS.

and celebrate our Pensonic Friend Amber Chia’s birthday and share the treats
made in this very meaningful, memorable and fun event with orphans from Rumah KIDS".
Pensonic has also generously sponsored the entire Chef Room range in Les Petits
Chefs' Baking Activity Centre as well as 22 home appliances for Rumah KIDS.
The main objective of Pensonic's collaboration with
Les Petits Chefs is to provide free classes for children to learn and earn a
living through baking, thus helping them to become independent in future. Pensonic
will continue to serve the community in a variety of community social programmes
now and in the future.
