LUMPUR FASHION WEEK 2015 (READY TO WEAR)
Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week Ready to Wear was conceptualized in
2013 as a B2C platform for Malaysian designers to showcase their Ready to Wear
Collections and ultimately highlighted the strength and creativity of the
Malaysia’s Fashion Industry to local and international customers.
Last year,
the Fashion Week brought more than 100,000 people together over 5 days at
Pavilion Kuala Lumpur to witness more than 80 Local Designers’ Collections.
This year, KLFW Ready to Wear hopes to attract more
international attention by focusing more on The Runway Collection.
Introduced during KLFW 2014, The Runway Collection 2015 will feature never-seen-before
runway-worthy looks from 90 Designers, showing exclusively during the
Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2015 from 12th to 16th of August 2015 at the
Centercourt of Pavilion Shopping Center.
As part of KLFW’s mission of Moving Fashion Forward,
numerous promising homegrown labels such as Line 32 by Yvonne Lim and
Beverly Leong, My Apparel Zoo by Ellie E. Norman, Moto
Guo and Soonaru will be showing their collection for the
first time at KLFW 2015 as a launch platform to propel them to Regional and
International Markets.
Working closely with Tourism Malaysia, KLFW 2015 will be inviting 5 Guest International Designers from China, United Kingdom, Australia,
Singapore and Indonesia to establish a bi-lateral dialogue, promote the
international growth of our local designers in the very near future and to
attract more revenue to the industry.

Lumpur Fashion Week 2015.
2. Wak

Celebrity and Co-Founder of The Garment Movement, a Local Brand established in
2013 with an essence of British influence, will be presenting his first full
menswear collection at the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2015.

street wear labels Wolfgang, Nasty Inc. Clothing and Supersunday will be
presenting their highly anticipated from Street-2-Chic crossover
Collections.
4. First ever
Malaysian Showing by James Hock, a Malaysian born London based designer.

ready-to-wear presentation, the Paris-based designer continues to maintain his
mission of juxtaposing the world of dreams with daily life in inspirational
designs, quality fabrics and impeccable workmanship.
8. Alan Ooi

KLFW 2015.
9. Subversive

by CNN and Phoenix TV as one of the most iconic local designer brand, YE’S was created by young designer YESIR from China. He will be presenting
his elegant and vanguard style of women’s wear for the first time at KLFW Ready to Wear 2015.
11. Top emerging label and favorite of Australian fashion’s taste-makers, Saveus

first appearance at KLFW 2015 featuring
tailored and whimsical ready to wear designs for women of all ages.
12. Mel

talented Indonesian designer’s second line called, Happa which a few years ago had
succeeded steal the attention of the fashion community in Jakarta, is now
reborn with a new concept and style. Without leaving the design character on
her couture line, through Happa, Mel Ahyar presenting her women's collection for
ready-to-wear market with a display that can be said to be an "affordable
couture" at KLFW RTW 2015.
13. Thomas Wee, a Singaporean fashion designer who was inducted into the CNN Power List as one of the 30 people who have
shaped modern Singapore will be showing a collection that
defies conventional engineering of garment making to yield a sleek modern
silhouette with a title of Asia: Past, Present & Future at
this year KLFW.
The Kuala Lumpur Fashion
Week 2015 (RTW) is one of the key highlights during Malaysia Year of Festivals
