DIOR HOSTED A LAVISH EVENING SOIREE AT ITS STARHILL BOUTIQUE LAST NIGHT FOR AN EXCLUSIVE, SELECT AND VERY RICH CLIENTS WILLING AND ABLE TO BUY DIOR AT THE DROP OF A HAT REGARDLESS OF THE PARLOUS STATE OF THE RINGGIT WHICH WILL HIT RM 5 SOON.

Moet and Chandon champagne flowed like there was no tomorrow and delicious canapes floated nonstop.

At 9.30 pm we were ushered into a makeshift cinema for the screening of Frederic Tcheng's movie 'Dior and I' which lasted 1.5 hours and showed exclusive clips of how Raf Simons got cracking to produce his epic Haute Couture 2015 for the first time since joining Dior in 2012 as menswear designer.

Many wondered how he could make the quantum leap from minimalist clothes after 7 years with austere Jil Sanders known for its funeral-inspired attire to pandering to Dior's couture clients who are some of world's richest women.

These women would rather die than be seen in a shapeless, suffocating shift all in monotone black as if they were widows lamenting the death of their billionaire husbands. So Simons had to churn up some sequins, applique flowers, pearl embroidery and lavish hand folds and pleats to justify the RM 200,000 price tag required for a made to measure couture dress requiring 3 fittings which mean you need to fly into Paris on three occasions but no one's complaining.

In the last fiscal year ended 30 June 2014, Christian Dior generated sales of RM 7 billion, making it one of the world's most successful fashion houses and Raf Simons can take some credit.

Then I saw Cynthia Ooi's car! A RM 500,000 Mercedes Benz 2-seater sports car! She is actually very de rich despite carrying cheap, RM 200 (maybe less if bought during sales) Aldo clutch! 

Apparently Cynthia was in a rush and grabbed one of her Filipino maids' bags by mistake! No wonder she could not buy the Dior bag with her credit card! 

So now I am Cynthia's new friend since I know she is actually very rich and generous

Since she is rich and available being a divorcee and owns this gorgeous car and has promised to take me for a spin to Genting Resort to squander more money on gambling!

And she was born in 1978, not 1972! 

As for Susan Low's poodle bag, her 'england' not so good. When told she was going to Dior, she heard as 'Dion' which is the name of my highclass French poodle so she brought her poodle bag to make me happy!
