THE GRANDEST OF ALL CHAMPIONS AND MOTHER OF ALL RESTAURANTs WHICH WON THE COVETED, TO-DIE-FOR MIGF GOLDEN CAULDRON AWARD WAS THE OLIVE, LOCATED IN THE LOBBY OF GENTING GRAND HOTEL AT RESORTS WORLD KUALA LUMPUR!

None was surprised The Olive won as after the MIGF dinner in the posh restaurant, I conducted a surreptitious survey of the 24 guests and all said it deserved to win the Golden Cauldron award and we were only halfway through the festival as the fortunate diners went to Genting on 16 October 2015!

The food, setting, decor, service, ambiance, table presentation and adherence to Star Wars/Galactic Chefs theme was sterling and beyond reproach! 

The Olive at Genting Grand hotel is the best of the best restaurants in Malaysia and at 6,000 feet above sea level, The Olive is also the world's best restaurant at that dizzy height!
