FUJIFILM Malaysia is excited to announce the launch of its latest version of ASTALIFT Jelly Aquarysta, as part of its premium anti-ageing care^*1 skincare range.

Since its arrival in Malaysia’s skincare market in 2012, Jelly Aquarysta has become the epitome of the ASTALIFT skincare brand. The jelly-type beauty essence helps combat dryness using a cutting edge ingredient –“human-type nano ceramide”^*2– to keep skin looking young, radiant and lustrous.

Now, the renewed ASTALIFT Jelly Aquarysta contains “human-type nano acyl ceramide”^*3, a moisturizing ingredient stably dispersed at the world’s smallest^*4 20nm-level, in addition to its proprietary moisturizing ingredient, “human-type nano ceramide”, thereby enhancing its moisturizing function.

The new “human-type nano acyl ceramide” is able to lock and prevent the evaporation of moisture by 6 times more than conventional acyl ceramide molecules. The combined power of two ceramides in the new ASTALIFT Jelly Aquarysta further enhances its moisturizing capabilities by 1.6 times.

Ceramides play an important role in replenishing and retaining the water content found inside the skin’s keratin layer to provide optimum hydration. As naturally occurring ceramides found in the skin decrease with age, they must be proactively nano-supplemented to maintain skin’s moisture level.

In order to ensure the blend of 2 types of ceramides remains in a stable state, a unique jelly texture is used. The surface of the jelly is able to repair itself within 1-2 minutes after use, returning to its original flat and smooth form. The product therefore, always appears as good as new every time it is used.

The improved version of ASTALIFT Jelly Aquarysta also features double the amount of “nano astaxanthin”^*5. “Astaxanthin is the red ingredient which gives elasticity and resilience to the skin. Ceramide is the ingredient which conditions the inside of the skin and keeps it moisturized,” explains Johnny Khoo, General Manager, Sales & Marketing of FUJIFILM Malaysia.

By applying the jelly-type beauty essence on bare skin after cleansing and before moisturizing, the two types of ceramides – “human-type nano ceramide” and “human-type nano acyl ceramide” dispersed at the world’s smallest 20nm-level – moisturize every corner of the skin and help achieve glowing, lustrous skin. The skin barrier function^*6 is significantly improved by 2.3 times while skin is visibly more radiant.

“As the jelly penetrates all over and conditions the skin base, the effect of lotion that is applied right after the jelly will be maximized. By moisturizing the skin from the inside with Jelly Aquarysta, it becomes elastic and lustrous,” says Khoo.

The design and specifications of ASTALIFT Jelly Aquarysta’s container has also been renewed. The container now features a more relaxed and sophisticated design in a beautiful red tone, the brand color of the ASTALIFT range.
