'MANDALAY' THE JADE COLLECTION BY RAFFLESIA PEARL CENTRE WAS OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED ON 18 MAY 2007 AT CARCOSA SERI NEGARA, KUALA LUMPUR'S HISTORIC AND EXCLUSIVE HOTEL SET IN THE GROUNDS NEAR LAKE GARDENS.

Winnie Sin wore the star of the season imperial spinach green jade ensemble worth RM 10 million, gown handsewn with hundreds of pearls worth RM 300,000 and ruby-encrusted shoes by Jimmy Choo Couture valued at RM 1 million.

Over 150 guests attended the gala led by 26 celebrities including Dato Siri Nurhaliza in RM 3 million Mandalay jade necklace and sexy Indonesian superstar Rossa resplendent in RM 8.8 million jade suite. Veteran Hong Kong stars Eliza Chan and Maria Cordero flew in for the occasion and the fabulous Anita Sarawak was emcee and host. 

Designers Amir Luqman, Khoon Hooi and Jovian Mandagie dressed some of the luminaries who wore shoes by Lewre.
