Nuri’s Exquisite Chinese New Year Offerings
Gong Xi, Gong Xi!
Naughty Nuri’s the much raved about Balinese BBQ Restaurant and bar, well known
especially for its mouth-watering Signature BBQ Pork Ribs and Twisted Martinis,
launched its specially curated Chinese New Year 2017 menu.
Featuring
an array of tantalising dishes including the Naughty Nuri’s ‘Lou Sang’ which
takes on a different path compared to the regular ‘Lou Sang’ that one could be
accustomed to.
Consisting of deep fried soft shell crab, stripped Iberico pork
rib, fried crab meat, white raddish, carrot, young mango, purple cabbage,
seaweed, pork lard and pork skin the Pig N’ Crab ‘Lou Sang’ was a burst of
flavours. Offering robust mouthfuls of soft shell crab and a generous amount of
tender stripped Iberico pork rib, the ‘Lou Sang’ was highly addictive and
satisfying.
Next
up on the menu was “Piggy Jumps Over The Wall”, Naughty Nuri’s specially
curated Chinese New Year Platter. A combination of a variety of seafood and
pork, the platter caters to both meat and seafood lovers.
From fresh and light
spicy tako slices to perfectly grilled baby lobsters with sambal hijau mayo,
the seafood part of the platter’s limelight was stolen by the braised sea
cucumber stuffed with seafood fillings. Braised to perfection, the sea cucumber
melts once in your mouth and the seafood filling just adds such colourful
flavours to it.
Moving
on the meaty part of the platter – we have the Belgium Roast Pork, always a
crowd favourite, wild boar coconut curry and a hefty pork knuckle. Excellently
roasted, the Belgium Roast Pork had just the right amount of fat and meat – so
good, it’ll leave you wanting more.
The wild boar coconut curry was mild yet
rich in coconut flavours while the pork knuckle was simply delicious –
succulent, tender and cooked in comfort-food flavours, the pork knuckle was the
star of the meaty part of the platter.
Together, the seafood and the meat and
all the enticing flavours, Naughty Nuri’s “Piggy Jumps Over The Wall Platter”
is a must-have this Chinese New Year. Priced at RM288.00++ the platter serves
up to 8 people.
To
spice things up this Chinese New Year, Naughty Nuri’s classic items including
the Signature BBQ Spare Ribs, Babi Guling A’la Naughty Nuri’s, Ayam Bertutu and
The Notorious Beef Short Ribs as well as the regular menu will also be
available.
Open
for business as usual this Chinese New Year, the Pig N’ Crab ‘Lou Sang’ is
available from now until 11th
February 2017 while the ‘Piggy Jumps Over The Wall’ Platter, priced at RM288.00
will be available from 26th
January 2017 until 5th February 2017.
