Founded by Robert Loh and wife Lily Loh Lee Lee in 1974, Lord's Tailor's big break came when Muhammad Ali, the world's greatest boxer who ever lived, stayed at KL Hilton in Jalan Sultan Ismail and ordered 6 suits from Lord's Tailor.
Kuala Lumpur was bemused, the Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed took notice and ordered a suit and today has hundreds of Lord's Tailor jackets, suits and shirts and the rest is history.
Today Lord's Tailor has boutiques in Bangsar Shopping Centre, AmpWalk, Pavilion KL and now The Gardens@Midvalley which opened 20 April 2017 to great fanfare.
Lord's Tailor pret-a-porter jacket averages RM 3,000 and under RM 1,000 for matching trousers while a bespoke, made to measure suit costs RM 3,800 and up to RM 80,000 for gold threaded fabric with your name woven into the edges of the textile. A readymade shirt is RM 250 and up. Not at all cheap but you are buying quality and immaculate workmanship that last for decades!

have come from and where we are heading. The brand is truly a testament to the
many years of dedication and hard work poured into a passion that our founder
had more than 40 years ago to make people look good.

people don’t know about my dad Robert Loh. His ultimate joy is to see a suit that

40 years, Mr and Mrs Loh has worked tirelessly to build up a brand that they

The term “Bespoke” originates from London's world famous Saville Row, renowned for fine custom
tailoring, when bales of cloth for a suit were said to “be spoken for” by a

This means the fabrics had already been booked and paid in advance and is no longer available as they now belong exclusively to that particular cistomer. This is indeed the approach taken by LORD’s 1974 to ensure every piece of clothing is perfectly suited to the customer.
Our
tailors and craftsmen approache each fabric using their extensive knowledge of precise
tailoring to accurately cut the cloth to the exacting measurements of the
