YSL Beauty – the beauty signature of the most subversive Parisian
couture brand opens its doors with its first flagship boutique in Pavilion,
Kuala Lumpur.
To celebrate the
brand’s much awaited arrival – the crème de la crème of Kuala Lumpur’s high
society, fashion and beauty mavens were invited to experience first-hand some
of the brand’s iconic products at its #YSLBEAUTYCLUB held at Bukit Bintang City
Centre (BBCC), located at KL’s highly iconic landmark.
Guests were spoiled with
a variety of instagramable moments; starting from a gold mirrored wall with
lighted YSL Cassandra logo greeting them at the main entrance, to which they
had to go through a gold mirrored entry tunnel leading them to a YSL photo wall.
Guests were also given each a YSL lipstick which they got to personalize their
name on it!
Amongst those spotted at
the event were socialites Tengku Chanela Jamidah & Datin Nurul Husna,
entrepreneurs Kelvin Tan & Datuk Alfred Cheng and his wife Rita Shum,
celebrities Dato Kee Hua Chee, Sharifah Sakinah, Yasmin Hani & husband Sha’arin Razali, Carey
Ng, Thanuja Ananthan, Serene Lim, DeFam girl group Sophia Liana, Cik Manggis
and Azira Safinaz as well as influencers Fyza Kadir, Eyka Farhana and Jane
Chuck hitting the dance floor and partying all night long, trying on YSL Beauty
products and being showered with gold confetti’s in a bathtub!
Spanning over 1057 sq. ft., YSL Beauty in Pavilion KL
will be the largest boutique in the world; and will be offering its entire
range from makeup to skincare and fragrance. Fans can look forward to get their
hands on products such as the classic Rouge Pur Couture lipstick – famous for
its iconic 01 Le Rouge shade, the much sought-after Vernis à
Lèvres glossy stain lipstick, Le Cushion Encre De Peau
fusion ink cushion foundation and the best-selling Touche Éclat concealer,
where one is sold every 10 seconds worldwide.

Sook Ping, General Manager of Luxury Products Division, L’Oreal Malaysia said,
“Malaysia will be the first boutique in Asia Pacific to have its design aligned with the fashion
house – featuring minimalist architecture echoing the brand’s aesthetics in a young,
edgy and luxury approach. We want to keep better consistency with the fashion
boutiques to reflect the brand’s heritage and identity.”

The flagship boutique will also be the first in Asia to offer the
prestigious and highly covetable Le Vestiaire couture fragrance range and to
house a Gifting & Engraving Station for you to monogram your name or make
your gift a unique one.
The
monochrome mirrored interior is set to complete every beauty enthusiast’s
shopping experience with its radiant space that is full of light and also an
interactive space called “Get The Look” that offers a multi-sensory makeup experience.
