The RACEROOM Racing Experience or R3E is a unique eMotorSports championship offered to Malaysians for the first time.

The recent establishment of a third RaceRoom gaming studio in Malaysia was also be in line with the Government’s intention of making Malaysia a virtual gaming hub in the region. This is timely as the country, despite not continuing to host the competition at Sepang International Circuit, still plays host to world champions, Mercedes AMG PETRONAS Motorsport through virtual racing.

We give Malaysians the chance to continue enjoying this racing experience, especially racing the Mercedes AMG PETRONAS FRX17 car at the Sepang circuit, in the confines of your living room.

RACEROOM's high end machines consists of racing simulators that are equipped with widescreen monitors, racing seats, high-tech steering wheels and pedal units provide an incomparably realistic feeling that normally only a real race can experience.
Tan Sri Althoff added that except for the smell of burning rubber, the R3E brings you everything else, from high quality imagery to high-definition sounds of the cars, just like how you would hear it at the real circuit. High resolution pictures on the screen are making the world of virtual racing look realistic.
“Even the experience of racing along Sepang circuit will be of virtual reality, complete with twists and turns, asphalt gradients and dips, and sponsors’ signboards.”
“Thrilling multiplayer races against your friends and practice sessions on the hunt for the fastest lap time promise virtual racing action at its best,” added Tan Sri Althoff.
He said there was no limit to the number of players in the online competition while the simulators could be tailored during the coming PETRONAS competition for up to 5,000 players per week.
R3E is in terms of quality the worldwide leading free-to-play motorsport simulation for PC and is your point of access to international race series as well as legendary race cars and world-renowned race tracks.
Ahead of the Malaysian Grand Prix from Sept 29 to Oct 1, PETRONAS will be offering this experience for motorsport fans who would like to pit their skills against each other, with the winners getting grandstand tickets to this year’s event finale. Besides, these simulators would also be available at the Mercedes AMG PETRONAS Motorsport events.
