Open for

Sotheby’s is delighted to
announce the first ever online sale of vintage watches from Vacheron
Constantin’s heritage collection. Together tracing 60 years of history of the
world's oldest manufacture, the six exclusive wristwatches have been selected by
Vacheron Constantin heritage specialists and serviced by in-house expert
watchmakers.
The sale, open for bidding from today until 15 October, will also
include two exceptional behind-the-scenes experiences into the world of
Vacheron Constantin.
Christian Selmoni, Vacheron
Constantin Style and Heritage Director, said: “Our heritage
department is a key element of our manufacture, allowing us to innovate while
maintaining our traditions and the authenticity of our watchmaking art. This
sale provides a unique insight into our archives and the history of our
manufacture, as well as a formidable opportunity to acquire pristine vintage
models sourced, researched and serviced by our expert team.”
Marco Preda, Sotheby’s
European Director of e-commerce said: “Vacheron Constantin and Sotheby’s are
two houses with over 250 years of history which have managed to constantly
reinvent themselves. This collaboration is a great example of our mutual quest
for innovation and it’s a huge privilege to be part of Vacheron Constantin’s
very first online sale with an auction house and of course, to be able to offer
this exclusive set of watches and experiences.”
