"Miss & Mrs Malaysia Kebaya delegation consisting of
Kebaya Queens, Ambassadors , Finalists, Photo, Video , Production, TV
Host , Writer & MMK Media were invited to BERNAMA national headquarters off Jalan Tun Razak for an official privileged
private visit.
"Purpose/Objective was to get support especially from the
media industry to highlight and spread awareness about the Kebaya and Malaysian culture to our younger Gen Y generation so it will not
die off or be forgotten.
"Other than that, we had a session of opinion sharing from
our Founder,National Director, Queens, Ambasadors, Finallists and
Collaborative partners with Bernama Team on how we could improve on cultural
education based not only on beauty but also using our beautiful Kebaya Beauty
Queens to be a spokesperson on behalf of Malaysians.
"Bernama has different
departments such as Bernama Radio and Bernama News Channel. Bernama has also
encouraged and advised our Beauty Queens to be Radio DJ or News
Reader.
"We have also discussed bringing Kebaya to the International
Arena and if it's a success, Malaysia will be the first country in the
world to kick-start a Cultural Beauty Pageant."
