Blue skies, gentle sea breeze, clear beaches... It was the
perfect setting for the exclusive launch of KANEBO THE EXCEPTIONAL, the latest
supreme anti-ageing skincare range by the Japanese beauty brand KANEBO. Held in
the paradise setting of Pattaya, a select group of guests representing all of
Southeast Asia were invited to join KANEBO on this intimate getaway.
From
Malaysia, famously fabulous blogger dato Kee Hua Chee, Dato’ Wenddi-Anne Chong, entreprenuer and Co-founder of TMC Fertility Centre, IVF
Technologies, CyroCord Sdn Bhd ,
Stemtech International; Irene Yeoh, Director of
John Robert Powers Malaysia; and entrepreneur and artiste Hannah Tan were amongst
those invited by Mr Atsushi Sumino, CEO of Kanebo Malaysia, to this relaxing beach
resort experience.
The 2-day event
proved to be an exceptional experience starting with the arrival at the
five-star luxury Cape Dara Resort, where guests were greeted by a line up of
Kanebo Japan staff all clad in whites. Guests were then ushered along to lunch
walking past the gleaming infinity pool which overlooked the sea and blue
skyline.
Immediately after a hearty meal, guests were brought to a ballroom for
the product launch presentation. The
team from Kanebo Cosmetic Inc. Japan including Mr Yoshihide Hori, Kanebo Brand
Manager and Mr Masaya Kojima, Product Development Senior Manager, introduced
the minimalist supreme anti-ageing skincare solution known as KANEBO THE
EXCEPTIONAL.
Guests were awed by the science behind the impressive results while absorbing the understanding of its benefits to clear skin and clear mind.

Notably, this is KANEBO’s first product launch held outside of Japan, and also
its most prestigious anti-ageing range that is born out of KANEBO’s 130-year
legacy and extensive research using cutting-edge innovation and technologies

During
the presentation, guests were able to try the texture of The Cream on their

The presentation ended with a dramatic curtain unveiling of Pattaya’s blue skyline

facial session using the trio products – The Lotion, The Emulsion and The
Cream. Under the expert hands of KANEBO’s trained therapists, it was indeed a

After winding
down from the insightful product launch and facial, some guests proceeded to
the make-up room for a KANEBO make over session with LUNASOL make up to get
ready for an evening event.
Guests dressed to
the theme of white and gold were shuttled to the Ocean Marina Yacht Club where
cocktails awaited onboard a catamaran. The yacht gently set sail to an open sea
where guests casually enjoyed pre-dinner cocktails on the 2-tier yacht to catch
a beautiful sunset along the coast of Pattaya.
The evening continued after the
cruise with guests proceeding to dine at one of Pattaya’s latest restaurant ‘I
Sea Sky’. The evening was filled with pure entertainment, great food and thank
you speeches.
The next day, the
event was lead with physical purifiying of the mind and body through a yoga session
on the beach. Kanebo specially invited Mr Kru Ake, a popular yoga master from
Japan, to conduct a Yoga & Me session.
To sum up the intimate getaway,
guests were invited to a closing ceremony where each guests were personally
presented a jar of the supreme CREAM as an appreciation gift and to further discover
and enjoy the amazing anti-ageing and brightening benefits of KANEBO THE
EXCEPTIONAL. Needless to say, guests were left high on an exceptional note as they
departed. .
