Entertainer and Callie the Dragon, are the recognisable faces of
the new Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park. Now the menagerie is expanding
to SkyAvenue in the Genting’s Highland Heroes event running from May
25 to June 30, 2019. An illuminated forest has been planted in
Pavilion foyer of SkyAvenue, featuring the lovable animals in their natural
habitat with the stories of their adventures. There will also be a parade
where all the mascots will make their rounds from Skytropolis into SkyAvenue
then all the way to Time Square and back daily from May 25 to June 9 and
thereafter every Friday to Sunday until June 30.
“Resorts World Genting’s theme parks have been the go-to
family destination for decades and our mascots played a huge part in putting a
smile on visitors’ faces whenever they came up for a visit. The mascots were
given a fresh new look and we have also added the latest addition Benny the
Entertainer sun bear and Callie the Dragon to the group. They
will be this generation’s lovable characters that have many stories to tell and
share with our audience. All the content that we are building for the
Genting’s Highland Heroes will relate to day to day life and we want them to be
role models for the children,’ says Sanjay Nadarajah, Vice President of Theme
Park.
Along this multi-coloured jungle scene, life-sized statues
of the Genting’s Highland Heroes will be dotted around, providing the
perfect scene for a social media photo posting.
The Genting’s Highland Heroes themselves will be interacting with all
guests in a Meet & Greet space, while children will be delighted
with an array of fun activities planned. Visit all stations and collect chops
on the Heroes stamp card to redeem a limited-edition badge. Tap into inner
artistic talents at a Digital Colouring workshop where kids can experiment with
colours on an interactive projection screen. Dance your heart out with the
Genting’s Highland Heroes on the Augmented Reality (AR) technology or scan QR
code to catch the butterflies where winged wonders suddenly appear on your
phone screen. The Genting’s Highland Heroes event provides fun-tastic
opportunities to interact and snap photos with the mascots, including a cool
glow-in-the-dark wall where everything glows neon.
