THREE VANTABLACK® EDITIONS AVAILABLE ONLINE ANY
TIME, ANYWHERE
VANTABLACK BLACK HANDS (AROUND RM 100,000 FOR 39MM AND 43MM) AND TOURBILLON (RM300,000 OR SO)
H. Moser & Cie. has taken a key step in its development, deciding to get closer to its customers by offering them
the opportunity to purchase its creations through a brand new online sales platform.
TOURBILLON
VANTABLACK XL
VANTABLACK
With a selection of models
available right now, this service has been designed as an opportunity to allow watch enthusiasts anywhere in the
world to acquire a Moser timepiece, at any time of the day or night.
To celebrate the launch of this platform, H.
Moser & Cie. has created three remarkable editions, with an aesthetic guaranteed to make an impact: these
three models feature a dial made from Vantablack®, the blackest black ever produced by artificial means.
VANTABLACK TOURBILLON
Equipped – for the first time – with black hands, they reveal the time like a quietly whispered secret. With
neither logo nor indices, H. Moser & Cie. proves once more that the heart of the Haute Horlogerie sector lies not
simply in displaying the time, but rather in eliciting emotion.
VANTABLACK BLACK HANDS
H. Moser & Cie. showcases Vantablack® on the dial of its Venturer Vantablack® Black Hands, available in a choice of
two diameters (39 mm and 43 mm for the XL version), and its Endeavour Tourbillon Vantablack® Black Hands
model.
With neither logo nor indices, this dial is the manufacture's ode to minimalism and understatement.
Ultracontemporary, pared down, and timeless.
Vantablack® is the blackest black ever produced by artificial means.
It is composed of carbon nanotubes that are
10,000 times finer than a human hair, aligned vertically alongside each other. When a photon hits Vantablack®, this
material absorbs 99.965% of the light.
As our eyes need reflected light to perceive what we are looking at,
Vantablack® is perceived as the absence of matter, a black hole. Although it’s resistant to shocks and vibrations,
Vantablack® remains a material which is extremely delicate to handle.
H. Moser & Cie. had to put a structure in
place and develop special processes to successfully work with this material. Once behind the sapphire crystal,
Vantablack® is protected as if in a safe.
There, it can express itself completely and seems to radiate the full power of
its perfect blackness.
An innovative material developed for astrophysics, Vantablack® is used in telescopes, and also by the military for
thermal camouflage, to increase the stealth level of certain equipment.
And that is exactly the role it is playing
here: H. Moser & Cie. is taking advantage of its expertise in Vantablack® to propose a new use for this material,
creating exceptional timepieces.
These extremely rare models offer high added value in terms of both their
innovation and their emotional scope. These models represent a switch to stealth mode, only revealing the time to
those wearing them on their wrist, with the blackened hands keeping their secret well-hidden.
This effect is further
reinforced on the Endeavour Tourbillon Vantablack® Black Hands model, with its DLC-coated steel case.
Amazingly, the story of these three models started as a joke.
On April Fools' Day 2019, H. Moser & Cie. posted a
touched-up photo of a watch with a black dial and blackened hands on social media, with these being, of course,
invisible. Faced with an avalanche of requests from interested customers and the buzz which followed, H. Moser &
Cie. had to take it seriously.
United around the values of cutting-edge technology, timeless design and emotion, the
Venturer Vantablack® Black Hands, Venturer Vantablack® Black Hands XL and Endeavour Tourbillon Vantablack®
Black Hands models are perfect for our modern times.
And what is more, they are available to purchase via an
online sales platform set up by H. Moser & Cie. Find them online and from approved retailers now.
