Collaborations. Or as they’re referred to today, “collabs”: they’re everywhere, across all kinds of brands and products.

MAX BUSSER AND EDOUARD MEYLAN

MB&F has always been about collaboration; it’s in our name, “Maximilian Büsser & Friends”. Our first collab goes as far back as 2009, when Californian artist Sage Vaughn transformed our HM2 into a Piece Unique for Only Watch. That has turned into a long line of collaborations we’ve called “Performance Art”.

But today’s collab is different – and to the best of our knowledge, unique. This new collaboration with fellow independent brand H. Moser & Cie. works two ways, generating not just one but two new collections: our MB&F LM101 has been “Moserized”, and H. Moser’s Endeavour has received an injection of MB&F genes.

The two collections are revealed today, but the relationship with H. Moser & Cie. is much older. At the head of our companies, Max Büsser and Edouard Meylan are good friends; and Precision Engineering, a sister company of H. Moser, has been supplying us with hairsprings for almost 10 years. 

That essential component sits at the heart of the two new collections: H. Moser’s beautiful double hairspring beats for the first time in an MB&F; and for the first time in an H. Moser, the remarkable cylindrical hairspring we featured in our LM Thunderdome.

Next to those hairsprings, the famous fumé dials that have become a signature of H. Moser & Cie. The LM101 MB&F x H. Moser features 4 beautiful fumé dials: Funky Blue, Red, Cosmic Green and – exclusively for our retail partners in Dubai, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons – an Aqua Blue edition. Each limited to just 15 pieces.

Simultaneously, our friends at H. Moser launch today the Endeavour Cylindrical Tourbillon H. Moser x MB&F. Under an impressive sapphire crystal dome, the cylindrical hairspring regulates a towering tourbillon, while the tilted dial is taken from our LM FlyingT and LM Thunderdome – a very 3-dimensional structure typical of MB&F.
