The authors of “RESPECT 1,000,000” invite you to join in supporting those who played a key role during the Covid-19 pandemic with the launch of a bilingual PhotoQuote Book – RESPECT 1,000,000
The Covid-19 pandemic has brought challenges and disruptions to our lives which are unprecedented. In spite of the uncertainties, we, as resilient beings, learn to adapt quickly. It is heart-warming to hear of organizations and individuals who took the initiative to spread positive vibes and provide support to those in need during this trying time.
This PhotoQuote Book project is a small, but sincere, initiative to show appreciation and gratitude to those who have played a critical role, especially frontliners and healthcare workers who have risked their lives to help keep everyone safe during this Covid-19 pandemic.

“Respect 1,000,000” is a 148-page PhotoQuote Book that contains a blend of inspirational photo-quotes and words of wisdom / personal messages from the authors and 35 friends.
This book project is the brainchild of Aesos Lai, an entrepreneur who is an avid photograher and ‘quote-enthusiast’ who has written more than 950 quotes over the last decade, and Icon Lau, a freelance translator who had translated the quotes and messages beautifully into Chinese in this book.
The ultimate objective of this bilingual (English and Chinese) ‘easy-to-read’ PhotoQuote Book is to salute all those who inspired it, and to raise funds to support them. The proceeds from the sale of this PhotoQuote Book will be 100% donated to the Ministry of Health :

Artist : Jeryl Lee Pei Ling
The man behind this ‘song tribute’ is Aesos Lai who contacted his friend, Pak Chossy Pratama, a famous Indonesian Music Producer and Composer, to explore the idea of composing a special song to pay respect to these frontline heroes. Pak Choosy agreed to compose and produce the song immediately.

With Pak Chossy on board, Aesos then roped in another renowned Music Producer, Ong Peng Chu to co-produce the song using one of the artistes under his label, Jeryl Lee Pei Ling.
The song has been viewed more than 700,000 times in YouTube (397,000 views) and Penang My Hometime Facebook page (330,000 views) which was launced on 24 April, 2020.

Tribute to Heroes who are fighting to keep us safe …
Inspired by the commitment and bravery of all frontline heroes, especially doctors, nurses, healthcare workers and volunteers, who fought, and are still fighting tirelessly to help save us during this Covid-19 pandemic period - we are excited to release a new song, “Respect 1,000,000” sung by our very own young rising talent, Jeryl Lee Pei Ling.
The man behind this ‘song tribute’ is Aesos Lai, an enterprising entrepreneur who was involved in the music & entertainment industry during the early 90’s.
Throughout this Covid-19 pandemic period, we saw and read about the many sacrifices and risks faced by our frontline heroes - Aesos was compelled to do something, however small, to cheer these group of brave citizens on.
Being an avid music-lover, he contacted his friend, Chossy Pratama, a well-renown Indonesian Music Producer, to explore the idea of composing a special song to pay respect to these frontline heroes. Pak Choosy agreed to compose and produce the song immediately.
With Pak Chossy on board, Aesos then roped in another renown Music Producer, Ong Peng Chu (who has already recorded a song titled "You Are Never Alone" recently to thank those who were involved in fighting the pandemic) to co-produce the song using one of the artistes under his label, Jeryl Lee Pei Ling.
And, within a short time, the song “Respect 1,000,000” was created and produced!
On behalf of everyone, we would like to pay sincere tribute to those who have made a difference – all the frontliners around the world, especially the healthcare workers, medical staff, police, military and volunteers who are risking their lives to fight against the pandemic to save our lives - your sacrifices and continued commitment in the fight against the unseen deadly virus is truly awe-inspiring!
YOU are indeed HEROES in every sense and we THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts and RESPECT you a million times and more ...
