ACCLAIMED CHEF CHAN WAI TENG

The exquisite dining hot spot atop Lai Chi Kok cultural destination D2 Place One has long been renowned for the stylish contemporary Cantonese cuisine of multi-award winning Master Chef Chan Wai-Teng at signature Cantonese dining room Man Hing.

The rebranding now combines Man Hing with The Gatsby, a multi-functional venue for banquets, weddings and events, and bespoke international menu of global flavours and seasonal, regional culinary themes.

“Greater China Club has made its name as a hidden gem for members, with visitors not generally aware they were welcome to dine.  Now the club is moving with the times, revoking membership and rebranding as a dining and events destination open to all,” said Mr Eric Ting, CEO and Founder of Bird Kingdom Group, managing company of Greater China Club.

Among rebranding promotions, one of Greater China Club’s popular dishes, The Flaming Fortune Chicken, which invites guests to open from its casing with a ‘golden hammer’, is offered at just HK$188 (originally priced HK$788) for dinner.

“The Chinese name for our Flaming Fortune Chicken means ‘rich and lucky’, and we hope to bring good fortune to our guests after the first few difficult months in 2020,” said Mr Ting.

A celebrated signature, dim sum, is showcased with a new Man Hing Dim Sum Platter of seven signature favourites suggested for 2, discounted from HK$284 to HK$198.
