This summer, celebrity-loved Vive Cake Boutique launches its third collaboration with world renowned Sanrio to unveil “Wishing Upon a Star” – an enchanting new collection featuring Little Twin Stars.
Celebrating Little Twin Stars’ 45th
Anniversary, the brand new collection embraces
a decadent afternoon tea set, and dreamy cake creations, from today to 11
October 2020.
Little Twin Stars, which tells the
story of Kiki, a blue haired twin who
loves ‘star-fishing’, inventing things and who has a never-ending amount of
curiosity, and his twin sister, the pink-haired timid Lala, who loves to draw and cook, has been a favourite of children
and adults for over forty years.
“Our team at VIVE is excited about The Little Twin Stars collection, our third partnership with Sanrio,” shares Ms Vivien Lau. “It is a dream to work with such an iconic brand and be creative with the whimsical world of the stars, bringing joy and sweetness to foodies in the city.”
VIVE adds an enchanting and memorable
twist to the traditional afternoon tea with a Little Twin Stars themed set that
is a feast for the eyes and a treat for the palate. Presented in a four-tier cake stand adorned
with the signature sweet smiles of Kiki and Lala, sitting on a crescent moon,
are a mixture of savoury and sweet delights.
The set features Asian-inspired savoury snacks, including Avocado and Vegetables Rice Roll and Rainbow Noodle with Yuzu Dressing, both of which incorporate the dazzling colours of Little Twin Stars.

The “Wishing Upon a Star” mini-cake, a
White Chocolate Mousse Cake with
Blackcurrant Cassis Compote, is the showpiece of the afternoon tea
experience. The
whimsical yet delicate
creation features the lovable
characters, Lala and Kiki playing on the cloud with white glazing sugar and
white chocolate mousse. This signature
mini cake can also be enjoyed as a single order for HK$58.
The tea-set is complemented with tea or coffee, available from Thursday to Sunday &
Public Holidays, 2:00pm to 6:30pm, at VIVE located at H Queen’s; priced HK$270
for one or HK$498 for two (subject to 10% service charge).
For guests looking to indulge in
VIVE’s signature dreamy creations in a special celebration, Wishing Upon a Star (1lb, HK$780) is the
perfect crowd pleaser for all ages. Showcasing
VIVE’s renowned buttercream cake embracing dreamy pastel colours of the rainbow
with edible ‘stardust’ pearls, the cake is adorned with Kiki and Lala; and the
Brand’s handcrafted ‘shooting star’ homemade cookies.
This irresistible cake comes in seven
of VIVE’s signature flavours, including Red
Velvet Buttercake with Cream Cheese, Earl Grey Cake with Earl Grey Cream Cheese,
Banana Cake with Chocolate Buttercream
and Crunchies, Hazelnut Cake with
Hazelnut Buttercream with Chopped Hazelnut, Vanilla Sponge Cake with Mango and
Yuzu Mousse, Rich Chocolate Cake with

whole cakes can enjoy complimentary delivery from VIVE (excluding outlying islands).
To experience this bespoke service, VIVE encourages orders be placed at least 4
days ahead, to ensure timely delivery.
