Around 50 bosom pals and socialites drove up to Ipoh on 10 August 2013 to celebrate her new eatery at De Garden which is Ipoh's hot and happening mall geared for art, entertainment, dining and nightlife!
De Garden is at Persiaran Ipoh, Medan Ipoh and you cannot miss it as you can see the billboards a mile away.
Mariani's is the most stylish and outstanding and evokes happy vibes. De Garden is owned by Dato Daniel Choong and big brother Y.T Choong.
This Italian restaurant serves the best Italian cuisine in all Ipoh let alone Perak.
As Dato Dr Wenddi-Ann is famous for being the first and only female to buy and register a Lamborghini in her own name and unknown for culinary skills, I ask if she took a Cordon Bleu course since the principal of Cordon Bleu Malaysia was also at the party.
"No, we have 3 top chefs from Modesto who are simply great!" beams Dato Dr Wenddi-Ann Chong. "When we make money, I plan to send them to Italy for a holiday so they can experience and enjoy for the first time the homeland of what they are cooking!"
Mariani's is run by Kim, the lover of Dato Dr Wenddi-Ann Chong. She has bought a house as their love nest in Ipoh so we will be seeing less of them in KL!
"We plan to be here 90% of the time but Ipoh is easily reached by car and we will come down to KL for nice events," explains the most beautiful Dato in Malaysia whose wealth and shopping are legendary.
Dato Dr Wenddi-Ann Chong wore a gorgeous and stunning mermaid gown so alluring I suspected it must have come from Tatiana boutique in Jalan Maarof, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
"Yes, my gown IS from Tatiana! It is my birthday gift from owner Julie Lim!" says the Birthday Girl. I forgot to ask what her bf Kim gave her but will do so later as it is now 5 am and if I phone her now she will beat the living daylights out of me.
