WHILE GUESTS AT THE 6TH BRANDLAUREATE SME BEST BRANDS AWARDS FULLY EXPECTED TO SEE HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE SULTAN OF PAHANG AND HER ROYAL HIGHNESS THE SULTANAH OF PAHANG, NONE EXPECTED TO MEET MR BEAN THE BRITISH COMEDIAN!
None also expected to meet Miss Vietnam and Miss Sabah and Miss Tourism International 2012 but they were there too!
So I was not too stunned when Dr KK Johan pointed to Mr Bean and said, "We also invited Mr Bean so perhaps you would like to take his photos."
I stared with my peepers standing out on stalks at Mr Bean making his usual trademark faces as he posed amiably with guests.
I quickly rushed to him and snapped away.
Mr Bean nodded and posed happily and co-operatively for my Leica. He didn't say anything but agreed to pose with everyone, including children whom he made faces. As for the beauty queens,he simply smirked and pointed at them and their boobs.
Mr Bean was a hit and everyone queued to be photographed with him. In fact, he was so agreeable and Dr KK Johan and his team were not hovering by his side 24/7 made me suspect (I always think the worst of everyone) Mr Bean may not be Mr Bean either.
My suspicions were correct as when we entered the ballroom, his name was never mentioned. I did not even see him sitting anywhere near the stage!
