I must admit the clock is pretty and comes with its own detachable pocket watch and the Patek Philippe watch is a minute repeater but I would rather use my money to buy shares in Sotheby's!

: The Duc d’Orléans Breguet Sympathique set Record For Any Clock At Auction (US$6,802,500, New York);

the Henry Graves, Jr. Yellow Gold Minute Repeating Wristwatch by Patek Philippe achieved the Highest-Ever Price For A Wristwatch At Sotheby’s Worldwide (US$2,994,500, New York).

Sotheby’s announced an exceptional growth of 43% for its global watch and clock auctions in 2012 compared to 2011, with a record-breaking total of US$85 million.  Among the stellar offerings presented by Sotheby’s international Watches team are Watches from the Collection of the Late Reginald H. Fullerton, Jr. and his Grandfather Henry Graves Jr. (June, New York), the Patek Philippe Ref. 5002P Sky Moon Tourbillon (October, Hong Kong), The George Daniels Horological Collection (November, London) and the Duc d’Orléans Breguet Sympathique (December, New York), to name just a few.
