THE MISS MALAYSIA WORLD 2013 SUBSIDIARY TITLES NIGHT WAS HELD AT DUCHESS PLACE ON 1 AUGUST 2013.
Duchess Place is not the easiest joint to find but once found, it turned out to be an impressive venue though I get the impression it is a hot favourite for Malay weddings since I saw a pelamin and many bridal decorative objects.

This is the first year Miss Malaysia World is organised by Dato Anna Lim who was ironically never a Miss World but a Mrs World 2004. When she was a virgin she won the Miss Malaysia Universe title in 1990. Then she married Dato Jeffrey Lim and lost her virginity and gained 2 kids.
Anyway, I was very impressed with Dato Anna Lim's organisational skills and management as this is her inaugural, first and yes, virgin year.
But she pulled it off splendidly and even managed to appear in BBC UK when 4 Muslim contestants were disqualfied based on a fatwa.
Upon arrival, I was bemused to see familiar faces from the recent Miss Global International Malaysia contest held in Miri, Sarawak which was held on 27 July! There were Marlene Lim, Amanda Soo, Vicky Yong, Raj Aria, Mohammad Yusuff and many others.

I was one of the 8 judges at the Miss Global International Malaysia contest.
Miss Global International Malaysia 2012 is taking part in Miss Malaysia World 2013 contest and won 2 subsidiary titles on 1 August 2013 at Duchess Place (which I think is named after DUKE highway!) but I am confident the winner will be Melinda as she was such a hot favourite I am sure the audience will destroy Corus Hotel Ballroom if she fails to be the new Miss Malaysia World 2013 and represent us in Jakarta at the world finals on 28 September!
The Subsidiary Night consisted of Talent Contest, Bikini Parade, Fashion Show by Metrojaya and Evening Gown Parade.
