Ultimately
reserved for the crème de la crème, the Lifetime
Achievement Award recognises an individual's outstanding leadership and
contribution to the design and architecture industry. Naturally, the first recipient
of this award was none other than the ‘Queen of the Curve’, the late Zaha Hadid
of the reputable architectural firm, Zaha Hadid Architects.
On
the other hand, the nominations for Asia’s
Most Influential Designer Award lied in the hands of the editorial team at Designer Concept, where a handful of individuals were selected due to the impact and
contribution they were generating for the design community in Asia.
This award also acted as a platform to honor outstanding and iconic designers who were influencing lives through their designs and creations from all over the world, and the three winners were none other than Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu (Neri&Hu Design and Research Office), Paolo Cucchi (PCA Architecture) and Steve Leung (Steve Leung Designers).

Asia’s Most Prestigious Design Award
is the highest recognition for any interior design firm that has contributed
vastly in terms of quality design and clever use of space, material and
technology.
With this, DOTY gave a tribute to these outstanding interior design firms that delivered unique designs in line with their client’s philosophy and industry all around the world — ST Concepts, The Roof Studio and Yong Studio Sdn Bhd.
