LINA CHUA AND HER SISTERS lily chua, BARBARA CHUA LI CHEN, LILY CHUA, CHRISTINA CHUA LI LING AND CARINNA CHUA LI HOON HELD A TAMBUN FOR THEIR LATE MOTHER MADAM CHONG CHAI LIAN AT THAI BUDDHIST CHETAWAN TEMPLE IN PETALING JAYA.
Madam Chong Chai Lian, 92, entered heaven on Wednesday 6 June 2018 after a short stay in hospital. In death as in life, Madam Chong passed away without fuss and did not pose financial constraints on her children.
Life as a single mother in the 1970s was very difficult since her husband Chua Kwee Soon had passed away.
Yet she worked hard to give her 6 children a decent education and a good, happy life. Her children will forever recall and miss her delicious home-cooked meals, especially her famous Thai laksa!
Her eldest son Lawrence Chua had passed away few years ago and are now reunited with his father and mother so Lina Chua and her sisters can take comfort in this. My father too is in heaven waiting for my mother and myself when we can worship Buddha and Kuanyin forever in eternity.
