THE 6TH NIGHT OF MERCEDES-BENZ STYLO FASHION GRAND PRIX WAS HELD AT THE POOL AND KYOTO LAB, PART OF NIHONKAN WHICH IS A MEMBERS' CLUB WITH SLOT MACHINES. Still, the gods have revealed I will be rich and famous through other means. So far I am poor and famous but at least that is 50% achieved and I have the other part to look forward to.
The shows by Matilda Low and Ellie Lim were fantastic as they used ordinary materials and stuff found everywhere to transform them into wearable works of art. Of course it would be nicer if both girls had worn something made from recycled materials instead of deadly dull, normal clothes made from synthetics and looked suspiciously like they bought the dresses off some racks instead of stitching their baju themselves.
But I was impressed by their ingenuity and talent so here's a Carlsberg toast to these two!
